I saw this engine by ARI Racing. They use the 2.8 block and stroke it to a 3.4. It already had the pistons and crank. You then add all of your external parts. What else had to be modified. Has anyone seen this block or bought one. The guy says they are selling like hotcakes. TIA Brian

I too have heard that it can only be bored to 3.2 This company says they are successful with a 3.4
Also does anyone know the Block number for an 1986 V6 2.8

I thought the 2.8 could only be bored and stroked to around 3.2L. I heard that the cylinder walls are not thick enough to bore to make a 3.4L.

It's not safe to bore a 2.8 to 3.4 litres.. we had a discussion about these guys already: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/006403.html

You can get a 60 degree 3.4-liter v6 from a 93-95 Camaro and just about bolt up everything up from your old 2.8-liter 60 degree v6.
