I have a black/silver 86 GT and I am considering having silver "shelby" style stripes put on it. I think a while ago i saw one like this, but i checked the gallery and there weren't any simple stripes.
Lets see pics of ANY fieros with stripes?
Opinions are welcome

Not mine, but this car was at the Fiero Factory last week when I went there, and I took some pics of it..it belongs to a guy that lives there in Huntsville I believe...

I recently installed some vinyl stripes on my notchback. They are metallic silver but look kinda white in these pictures. It was $80 for 190 cm of vinyl. If you go this route, try not to use water when installing. You have to apply them right the first time but there are drastically less micro-bubbles.

I've seen that chin spoiler somehere before and wanted to pick one up. Anyone know where to find one? I like how it levels the bodyline in the front. Gives it a more aggressive look and cuts the wind from underneath the vehicle as well as forcing more air through the radiator. Any ideas?

You might try Wudman's Fiero page at www.thisisfun.com He's got LOTS of Fiero pics under his Fiero section.
Having owned a couple of Shelby Mustangs, allow me to let you in on a little secret. The "LeMans" stripes are actually tapered. There is a constant two inch gap between them, but they are wider at the base of the windshield and the top of the rear window than they are at the leading edge of the hood and the trailing edge of the trunklid. Why, do you ask, are they this way? So that as you look at the car, they appear to be a constant width, no matter from what angle you look at the car. If you paint them...or use vinyl that's...the same width from front to back, when you stand in front of the car, the stripes will appear to be smaller on the roof of the car than they are on the hood. Hard to explain, but think of it this way. Look down a straight road...the further down the road you look, the narrower it becomes. It's an optical illusion...one based on perspective. If you paint the stripes on your car a constant width, they will have the same appearance as the straight road...they will appear to decrease in width the further back you look on the car. Just a bit of "Shelby trivia"...and something to think about if you paint stripes on your car.

Here's a pic of mine I did a couple of weeks ago. I painted them, wasn't too hard except for the layout and masking.
Like litespd says, Shelby had a "secret", making the stripes grow wider towards the rear of the car. Mine are a constant 5" apart the whole length of the car. The black stripes, however, start at 5" wide at the front and increase to 9" wide at the rear. Very effective, and most people don't notice until I tell them
