Also what software do I need? Sorry for not searching but I dont remember the name of the cable.

Just ordered mine today, it comes with software that works with the stock Fiero as well as some of the common pre-96 swaps.

It's a good all-in-one solution. After soldering my own interface and writing my own software for the older 160-baud systems, I readily dropped the cash for this one. It does both the 160 and 8192 baud diagnostics, so it should handle just about any ECM built by GM before '96.

You can get the program, and easy instructions to make a cable free. Its very simple, and free. I've seen cables go on ebay for $120 !!! Made me think about producing them, lol, it doesnt cost more that 3.50 to make one
