I'm thinking of doing some "cut-n-paste" action on my front/rear fasciae (i.e. cutting sections, rearranging them, and bonding them back together), and was wondering if there's a product that could be used as "urethane glue". The pieces will be bonded together edgewise, with about a 1/16" gap at the seams. So it's important that whatever I use will be able to hold the pieces together without cracking/splitting at the seams. It would also need to be as flexible as the urethane, to avoid seperating, and easily sandable/paintable.

Any ideas?

Or try Fusor (they have about a million products, but...).

That's supposed to be the stuff that GM themselves use.

If you have a gap of 1/16, you will probably find that the panels separate rather quickly. Make your joints as tight as possible.
Try using some fiberglass random fiber cloth to strengthen the joint from the backside. It will take the urethane adhesive almost as well as fiberglass resin. Make sure the back surface is clean, and scratched up with some 40 or 60 grit sandpaper.
If your budget can stand it, get carbon fiber cloth= lighter, stronger and some bragging rights, also
