I'm basically running an almost stock ignition setup. Distributor has an AC Delco module, MSD cap, Taylor wires, and Holley (same as MSD?) coil. I'm using Torque Master plugs (
http://www.extremespark.com ). My engine pings with ANY other plug. Just installing these without changing anything else (timing etc.) stopped the pinging. The Fiero owner who originally pointed me to these had the same experience with his high compression 3.4L
A reprogrammed PROM controls ignition advance and fuel based on input from a BAR 2 MAP sensor.
Just curious, any picture of your S/C setup??
