Has anyone solved the headlight door dilemma with anything other than heavier springs and hood vents? I am looking for a way to get the high pressure air out of the front compartment without cutting the hood.

The hood scoop not only eliminates the pop ups but it also provides much needed downforce on the front end.

Someone here... I can't remember who & am too lazy to search... cut vents from the area beside the headlight buckets in to the wheel wells & was happy with it.

Yea i cant remember who that was but drilling a number of small holes into the fender well area seemed to work well for him , i've considered this repeatedly as an option until i can find a hoodscoop that appeals to me.
