I have Rodney's Euro Shift kit and I'm looking for a gated shifter plate that I can buy from someone. I don't have the means to have one fabbed for me so anyone that has one already made I'd be more then happy to buy from them. Even if it's the old FiEuro shifter for the car, that would be fine if it shifts inside the gates. Anyone who can help me with this please let me know. Thanks

Lookup Member Skybax. He had a project going HERE I don't know what he had last. It is unfinished but an inexpensive item to finish your project. You know there is no true gated shifter for the Fiero, right?

I dont think you can have a working gated shifter. the gear positions are to close to each other. at least down by console they are.

Guess I should specify a little. First off I'm using the stock Fiero center console; no change here.

Second, I'm looking for mostly cosmetic purposes. I had one on my Mera a couple years back, now with my new 308 replica looking to buy another one. The FiEuro shifter shifted within the gate, meaning that it never really went into the gates at all. If someone has the mold for the FiEuro shifter and could fab one up for me I'd be more then happy to buy one. Or even if someone wants to get rid of their old FiEuro shift kit I'd be willing to buy.

This is what you are looking for. It doesn't go through the gates, just merely for looks, and uses the stock console... What they were saying was that it seems 'impossible' to make one that could.

I am currently working on one, but I will have a custom shifter and center console. I "think" I foudn a way to give myself enough throw at the height of the plate to allow a true gated shifter. This will be functional, as the shifter will move into each notch in the plate.

It will be a few weeks though, and if it works, I will post it on. My other interior swap pictures are at:

I dont know if your familiar with 98-03 Cadillac sts but this is what I have in my fiero with the northstar. I think it adds a little style but it isnt actually 'gated'.
