Heres the beginning of my body work for my 86GT Project (like most it'll be awhile before its finished) but you can follow along if you'd like... But most of all enjoy.

Heres the donor that will be recieving the mods. in the end, but i've got a few parts cars that may act as my plugs and guinea pigs for some ideas. I can't ever stick with just one idea at once either as you'll quickly learn. Here we go. Heres the before i even owned the car pictures... Carlisle 2000 pictures (some of you may recognize these), and a few others

one of my recent mods. just fine tuned and 'finished' (Toms Flushmounts)

...And the beginnig of the C4 style hood/fender mod. with alittle help from my old 87SE project.

I sanded a v-channel into the hood and the fenders to give me some area to lay the glass in and smooth over later on in the project... As you can see in the pictures a combination of paint sticks and tape were used as my alighnment tools. (kinda common sence, but i removed all the bolts attaching the fenders to the chasis before hand) now all that will be required to let the fender(s) loose [one was already cut above the molding] but to cut above each of the fenders along the molding with a 4 1/2" grinder with a cutting wheel or a dremel tool...

Beginnig the fiberglass stages

Are you just planning on making sort of a clamshell front end? It looks good so far -- do you plan to save any weight or anything by going this route?

If i had place to store it, I could probally make this my plug / mold and make one out of kevlar / CF (but i don't plan on doing that. I won't be saving any weight, just adding a little bit more for now, when it comes down to it though, I'll probally be re-working the whole body (if i get the time)

we'll see what ideas i get as the project progresses. I tend to go off on tangents I didn't really plan.

Just alittle update, working on it alittle bit today... Heres what I've got so far, im in the process of trimming the underside of the hood.

I've obviously got plenty more glassing to do, but thats where it stands right now... Back to work for me.

Now that I have a good bit of my attention on the hood of the fiero 'Im thinking again'

What might I have in mind next?

Could FieroGTRwideboby 'aka alex' have been giving me a word from the wise? Time will only tell. Orville might bee doing some inspiring as well 'the man does know his stuff'

So what might this Aston Martin and my Fiero possibly have in common in th near future ? Any wild and crazy guesses? (CAUTION: might require some wild and crazy out of this world idea that some have approached on the fiero)

Start guessing and when the rain slows up within the next few weeks, I'll show pictures of my progress on this elaboration
