Good Afternoon. I have read in other threads on the forum that the 2.8L Camaro had a very similar EGR tube that will work on our Fiero's. Is there any year limitations on this or is it any Camaro with a 2.8L.

Thanks in advance
Bob

3.4 Camaro egr tubes work nicely, however, the mounting holes need to be elongated with a dremel.
The tubes from the Camaro are much thicker material and less prone to failure.

If you're looking for one, I have a good one without cracks off of a 3.4 Firebird (has already been altered to fit the fiero) I'd be happy to sell ya for 15 bucks shipped.

The "auto recycling yards" are full of them. I think I paid five bucks for one. I had to enlarge the holes on one end, and twist it a bit, but it worked. The tube itself is much beefier than the Fiero one.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their support in this. Seems like such a simple little piece, but a huge hurdle when you dont have the knowledge. Thanks again and especially to Brad.

Just for anyone else looking for an EGR tube, I found that the one from the V8 Firebird also works and only cost $5 at the local U-pull-it.

Yes, the V8 tubes are pretty much the same as the V6 tubes: the holes on one side need to be elongated a small amount to fit the 2.8.
