So I've just about got the chopster on the road.
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/059862.htmlI seem to be having problems with the 4.9 heres the story:
I have 2 ecm's while the first chip was sent out to be reprogrammed I wired the engine using the 2nd ecm. I got it all wired up and decided to try it. Crancked it over and it fired right up! Then died because of passkey, right?
My original chip got lost in the mail for a month! >_< So in the meantime everyone and my brother would come check out my progress and I'd show the that it fires! then dies

Well one time I tried it and it just cranked no fire? I thought maybe it was just the unburned chip so I just waited to get my burned one with the passkey removed.
Well the burned chip showed up and I still have no injectors firing! WTF? Even swapped to a different ecm, same thing. checked and double checked all wiring, it's all good. Replaced ignition module and pick up coil and no have awesome spark! but no injectors >_<
BTW engine fires like a mad mother when gas is poured in the throat.
so what does the ecm look for before firing the injectors?
All help appreciated even if it seems like something simple I may have overlooked it
TIA,
Tyler
