would STP THROTTLE BODY CLEANER mess up the IAC? Just wondering before I clean it

Are you using it on the engine or off. If on it's better if the cleaner is sensor safe.

If your taking it off and cleaning it should not matter and will be fine.

Just poured into the gas tank?
On the 'duke at least, I don't think it would even get to the IAC passage. It's for air, after all.
When I took my throttle body off, I found the IAC passage to be nearly clogged shut. That kind of grime needs to be removed manually.

No its the spray, I will remove the sucker tommorow and take a look.

If it's throttle body cleaner, it should be fine. F.I. Throttle Body cleaner is safe for electronics, so it doesn't mess up sensors, etc. You want to avoid using regular carb cleaner spray becasue it may not be safe for the sensors.
