well i have been asked a lot about the 11 1/4" brake upgraded. now i have not done this swap but i have gathered a lot of info off of other sites and also treads on here.
lets start with a few sites where i am getting my info from.
great tread but it is a little long and you have to sort threw it for the right info.
treadshows you can fit the 11 1/4" brakes behind the stock 15" wheels.
treadgood info on performance brakes in general.
websitethis guy used the camaro calipers in the front and rear, but you have no e brake when this is done.
treadalright here i go. this is a list of all of the cars you can get the rotors and calipers from.

1.
performace rotors2.
west coast fiero can machine them for you
3. have a local machine shop do the work.
parts list.
1. calipers
2 front 85 seville calipers(they make it where you can use the stock brake lines)
2 rear 85 seville calipers(just to try and keep it all the same car)
2. pads
front pads for a 82-92 Camaro will work on front and back calipers (also camaro has performance brake pads)
3.rotors
4 rear 89-95 LeBaron vented rotors
4. master cylinder
92 blazer 1-1/8" bore master cyl
5. wheel studs

rjblaze does group buys just pm him
west coast fiero
archie
11.washers(used for spacing on the caliper bolts)
12. brake fluid
i would find the highest boiling point for any dot3 or dot4 brake fluid and used that.
few tips to keep in mend while doing the brake upgrade.
When using REAR LeBaron rotors and 3/8" thick caliper brackets, use 0.325 thick spacers between caliper mounting ears and caliper bracket.
When using LeBaron FRONT rotors and 3/8" thick caliper brackets, use 0.650 thick spacers.
the 10 degree bracket has a small interfierence between the brake pad and the stock brake bracket..can get around it by using a die grinder to knock about 3/8" of the corner of the pad off (took all of 2 minutes)
tap the caliper to adaptor holes 7/16-20 (NF) and then also tap the stock knuckle holes 7/16-20 and get 7/16 bolts the right length to bolt the adaptors on..
Again, that's rear only. Not needed in the front.
here is a nother brake upgrade i am going to try, using a brake booster from a 96 S10.
treadthere is always the question if you should get your rotors cross drilled, slotted, dimpled. here is what i have come up with.
cross drilled rotor will help to make spider cracks in your rotors and are only for looks, do not use them if you will be racing your car. allow gasses to escape.
slots will help shave off any glassed or uneven parts on the pad, it will lessen pad life but give you better braking threw out the pads life.
dimples are like cross drilled but do not go all the way threw the rotor. allow gasses to escape.
now again i might of missed some things. feel free to add to this or correct me if i am wrong. i am just trying to put togethr a a place to find info on the 11 1/4" brakes.
