I finally got around to installing my 'Truck-Lites' brand headlights and the results are impressive. The quality and fit of these lights is great. The lens is smooth glass and the reflector is chromed, die cast aluminum. With the included H4 55/60 watt bulbs, light output is a lot more than the halogen sealed beams that were in there. Here are a few before and afters:

Here is what I got from Levine Auto Parts-

Before-

After-

I had to do some aiming because the new lights have a more defined 'cut-off' and they were shining on the ground right in front of the car. So far, I like them a lot. More light but nobody has flashed their brights at me, so they must not be too annoying. If you do a lot of night-time driving, these lights should be on your list for upgrades. The total investment was about $100.

I did the same thing with my fiero, but I added the real HID Xenon kit. It made a huge difference.

Right (passenger) side is stock. I went w/Hellas (h4s non sealed beam), makes changing bulbs a two step, instead of six step procedure.
Not to mention great lighting. Pricey though, nearly 120 smackers.

I did that upgrade after Buddycraigg posted on those lights, here's the thread.

https://www.fiero.nl/forum/A...070315-2-075733.html

I did it right before the 2006 Florida Keys run, the car died on the trip and I never drove it at night with the lights on.

I will have the car back on the road for the Dells run this year so I'll finally be able to see how they work.
