I've read many threads relating to 4T60 swaps, this is the non electronic with 3:21 ratio, V8 transaxle with extra 4th clutch but I have not found much info on the net relating to Allante 4T60 swap. I have been searching google trying to get a copy of the wiring diagram for the TCC , if anyone has access to an 1991 or 1992 Allante service manual could you post an image ? "When" I find this diagram, I'll post it in here. Thnx.

I have the 85-91 440-T4/4T60 service manual at home and it contains all the TCC schematics from the available models for each year. I haven't scanned any from 1991, but the format will be very similar to these. When I get home this evening, I will try to get the 1991 models scanned and posted:

The Allante was the only Cadillac that used this V8 version of the non electronic 4T60 in 1991-1992, due to the increase in toque. I just don't want to assume and have avoidable problems. I have a pic of the ID tag but still sorting out the details of wiring up the TCC before commencing swap

Thanks, I got the TCC circuit version for the Allante, I had some doubts that this was possibly an early version of an electronic but everything keeps telling me it is non electronic. it has a T.V. cable and modulator valve. the ecm has a reference for the traction control and I'm not sure if I would need to reference this or if it will still function without a reference signal. I'm working on getting a copy of the Allante servive manual transmission section.

the earlier versions were referred to as TH440-T4 or F7 version later to be renamed the 4T60, not the E. used in 91-92 Allante, I'm no expert on these just figuring it out lately. I posted a link previously a few posts back in this thread relating to a Transtec bulletin which is just another thing to confirm this is indeed a 4T60

The earlier 87-90 Allante F7 version is from what I've been reading is only at best a marginally stronger 4T60, I have seen them for sale on craigslist for fifty bucks, but they strengthened them internally when they increased the torque output to 270 ft/lb. in the later 91-92's.

I took some pics of the "Enigma" hopefully someone will be able to provide some answer. It has been suggested to me that this is an early version of an electronic, little known about this transmission, hard to find info so I figured it would be best if I posted some pics to help sort. The transmission has 47,000 miles.

The pictures you posted of your transmission prove (by the presence of the kickdown cable) that it is indeed a 4T60 (non-electronic). What's strange is that wiring diagram for the 1KZH is showing gear "solenoids"...
------------------ 6+ years on this same swap -- NO engine or transmission failures...
I know, that's why I've been looking for a little technical assistance, I've been referring to this thing as the "Enigma" , I think it might be for the traction control that was a feature for the '91 Allante' . but really not certain. I have posted on chrfab.com tech forum and on the GM inside news looking for any specific details. I do appreciate you having a look and sending me that TCC circuit diagram, this transmission only has 47,000 miles and was in running order when I pulled it out. so I do want to be able to use it and have it function properly and not blow out a diode or something by not hooking it up properly.
