Does anyone have pictures of what kriss munsons flushmount headlight kit looks like? I.E pics of all the partts in the kit and pics of what they look like with the hood up or while being installed. I want to order a kit but im not sure if i will need the whols kit due to the type if lights im useing, all help is greatly appriciated.
Kris munsons headlights are a very unique design. I think his are the reason norm stopped making his. Krises design is a 3 piece per light design
1. The headlight mount The headlight mount bolts right up to your stock headlight screws that held your buckets in. No modifacation required except to tap a wire into your radiator fan relay
2. The bucket The bucket bolts right up to your stock headlight door with no mods required
3. the lexan cover (not pictured) The lexan cover slips right into the hole where the headlight door used to be and is held in by the bucket.
Only problem i have with them is the lexan cover distorts the light very badley. I took them out and they light up the road just as well as the flip up headlights
I like them so much this car is the next to get a pair

i have them on two of my fiero's. easy to instal.,well made., and Kris Munson is a stand-up guy. very trustworthy gent. only thing is you will have a dead spot in front of your car. most guys put fog type lights-blue ones work well. in the front rad. intake area. this helps get rid of the dead spot. i ran wiring to headlights. that way, they all come on together, and shut off together. i don't know how to post pictures on the forum. i can email some pictures of my cars with kris munson flushmount headlights.

Check in my pic. You will see a tap in clamp with a red wire comming out of it. this must be tapped into the rad fan relay because of how kris set up his headlgihts. The stock fiero headlights high beam and low beam were in one single bulb. When you change to krises setup your high beam and low beam are in sepret housing's so they dont ground out correctley. Both the low beams work when you dont connect the tap in clamp but when you turn on the high beams one high beam comes on on one side and one low beam stays on on the other side with no highbeam on.( or somthing close to that its been a year since I did the swap) Once the tap in clamp is connected the headlights work properley. Kris sends instructions with the headlights so they will explaine to the O/P how it works.
Its a very easy installation.

Hhmm...interesting. I never thought about high beams.

thats what I said when I 1st installed it. But after trying the high beams and low beams i figured out why he did that. Dont get me wrong this flushmount kit is not without a few problems 1. with the lexan covers on it it distorts the light very greatley 2. the bulbs look like they are a PITA to change when they blow out. 3. the 10FT gap you have before the road hets lit.
But hell I corrected the light distortion by taking out the covers till i get kris's HID setup for it Havent had to chnage the bulbs yet Im not to picky about the 10FT gap dosent bother me at all.
Id say his kit is worth every penny. And being priced better than Norm had his lights up for its a win win. Kris's basic kit (one i have) was $300 plus shipping His HID kis is $400 plus shipping (last i was quoted) Norms were i think $500-$600 and were an inferior design. all one piece headlights hend in by springs on the back and i dont think they went in as easy is kris's.

go to fierofiberglass.com or try spacecoastfieros.com or try calling khris munson at cell# 352-274-0549. he works day shift, so wait till after 5:00pm to call him. best of luck to ya.
i went to fierospacecoast.com and clicked on the head light link and it says to click on the picture for more info and i'm not getting anything to click on for a link... where to order from and usually how much do they cost?
Not my preference and i agree it looks like a Nissan z. It always looked to me like an aftermarket replacement, and never really geld with the cars lines or design. They had a similar kit for the 60's corvettes and it looked the same like an afterthought. Humm let me take these pop up lights out and put fixed lights in where there should obviously be a pop up headlight. Its about as subtle as a freight train. The lighting also looks like it will be hampered by their recessed placement creating possibly dangerous blind spots.

I eliminated the dark spot in front of the nose with replacing my marker lights with a dual bulb driving light. I wired the amber bulb to the side marker lights so that they are on with the parking lights or blink with the turn signals.
The white driving lights do over power the amber bulbs, but I will turn off the driving lights if I'm using my turn signals a lot.
