Ok i got the Dayco 71030 and 71082, but what is the hoses that go from the piece thats on the LIM? Like it goes through the alternator bracket... problem being i do not have a alt bracket... just have the elbow. thats it. Where is that supposed to lead to?

To your heater core, but the factory elbow wont work because nothing holds it in without the alt bracket. You will need to tap it to 3/4NPT and thread a fitting into it. The heater return hose on the 3800 is on the waterpump, it is too big to tap, you can plug it if you have an 87-88 Fiero.

Then you can either plug the water pump return line and put a "T" in you right coolant hose to connect the heater return to, or you will need to find a wat to connect your return line to it, 1"NPT might work, I have not tried. I would make a plug with a 1/2 or 3/4NPT threaded hole in it, but I have the equipment to do that in my shop, not too easy for most I imagine.

If this diagram is correct, then I just don't get how it will keep pressure in the coolant line.

Interesting sketch ! Yes that is correct, the entire system stays pressurized the right cool tube is the return, that is how the factory set up the 87-88's. What is your plan for a coolant fill point ?

the first one was correct.

I was assuming either fill at the Thermostat housing or at the radiator...

Cant fill at the radiator, its lower then the engine.

I posted how to make a Tstat housing out of the Fiero V-6 housing in this thread. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/F...HTML/114292.html#p22

it looks like you are caping the radiator hose connection on the water pump housing. you cant do that...

The yellow circle will go to your right side coolant tube thats for the radiator... you put you tee into this hose and run your heater core return into it...the red circle, tap that to 3/4 npt and use a npt to hose barb adapter and run this hose to heater core feed... then the orange circle will get blocked off with a plug the parts store has a rubber expandable plug where you tighten the center nut and the rubber expands.. thats what i used cause i have an 88
this is the size i used im pretty sure... http://shop.advanceautopart...P60012_585492180___#
