I am working on getting TunerPro RT to work with the 87 & 88 2.5 duke engine.

Just wondering if anyone has gotten it to work before, or has any insight on getting it to work.

Thanks

Should just need the template for data stream.

1227748 P4 family uses info as C3 for duke w/ extra fields and maybe a different format.
Fan 1
Fan 2
several Cruise fields

If is true then maybe you can start w/ another P4 or other newer OBD1 template.

I though that P4 uses ALDL pin E and 160 baud format but really use pin M 8192 baud. (I've just check my 87, ALDL pin-out, Pin M.)
Try http://www.exatorq.com/ludis_obd1/p4xref.html for a list

While the 8192 Pin M data usually is bidirectional, and is activated by a data burst from the scanner, this ECM clearly uses the 10K Ω resistor to start it.

Check schematic... No, This is not a bidirectional interface. is just a mosfet to drive the Output

I have been working on breaking the 87 - 88 1227748 ECM ALDL output string.

Getting close to having something I can put on here.

Here is the raw data for those of you who might be interested.

It really doesn't look like much, does it?

I think you now take the prize for having the most effort expended trying to make the A027 work.

At 6 months, you've definitely exceeded everyone else's involvement, save for perhaps Arte444 and WipeOut, who had a rudimentary file to work with the datastream- I wish I would have saved their old .ald file.

It''s ALIVE!!!

Here is the ver1.0 of the .ADX file - http://www.reddevilriver.com/uploads/87-88_2.5.adx

Of course this is to be used with Tunerpro RT V5. - http://tunerpro.net

Here is a playlist of videos on how to set up TunerPro for those who haven't worked with it. - http://www.youtube.com/play...C45&feature=view_all

As far as I know this should be a fully working version for 87-88 2.5s. Remember the 87 - 88 2.5s use pin M for the data. The 10k ohm resistor is needed. I don't know if you can use Dodgerunners cable and just move the data pin on your ALDL connector to match. I do know this will work with my ALDL to USB direct cable - https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/061099.html

Let me know if you find any problems
