Some stories about my parts, I got from them.:

Here's part from one of my postings ""You guys should make it very clear that your parts are only intended to be used with your products.

Things I purchased from you that had issues:
1: Coolant neck: holes weren't elongated
2: Dog Bone: Holes don't line up when dog bone is placed in Firewall bracket and dogbone needs to be reangled down and over. Not intended for other mounts but yours.
3: Axle: too short, only for your mounts
4: Down Pipe: hits firewall. Once again I guess only for your mounts
5: Low mount alt bracket: missing spacer (you told me "Just use washers") Alt. bracket also sits very close to spark plug.. Can't blame that one on your motor mounts
6: Auto Shifter bracke: Got sent a used / customer made one. However you sent me the correct one after seeing pictures of the first one sent.
7: Shipping on Axle, Coolant neck and Auto shift bracket took a month!""

i sure hope you used paypal or a credit card so that you can reverse the charges immediately. Unfortunately there does not seem to be a vendor for 3800 swap parts who is not flaky, unreliable, and pulls disappearing acts while blaming everything on their personal drama

I hope you can get your money back

Red flag this is a sign of things to come with the phone being turned off , use paypal and get your money back as this is not looking good and if they were a reliable operation they would offer some customer service instead of excuses.Looking at the welds on the pics they look like a backyard job not clean penetration.

Unfortunatly, if you used PayPal, you only have 45 days to open a case through PayPal. However, you can still contact your credit card company or bank and dispute the charges... Whatever you do, I would do it sooner rather than later...

I am still here! We are having some serious internal issues but I haven't forgotten about you. At the moment, I'm doing about 5 peoples work on my own. I'll pm you my home number as my work cell is no longer connected

And to the guy talking about welds, I don't know what pictures you're looking at. All welds are done by me or my lead tech, both WABO structural certified w/10+ years experience a piece. Every weld is either done with a miller 251 or syncrowave 300 tig

If theft is the case then get the law after him immediately. What are you waiting for? Fiero owners on this forum are usually pretty forgiving and patient if you show willingness to work with them. If you are trying to do the right thing, things should work out but Garys experience has still not been fully explained. .
Note that many people on this forum have been burned badly and for big money by a few vendors promising everything and delivering nothing. I am certainly not inferring that you are dishonest or comparing you to those scoundrels but understand that as a relatively new vendor you will be facing a lot of skepticism here.

Gary? If that is the guy in the thread mentioned, that was over a year ago and was resolved shortly after

I can't go after him, he owns half of the business. This has been an ongoing thing and I think the plan right now is just to take what we have left and move shops. I had to go down to the utility company and argue with them for a good while before they would turn the power back on after he cut the service

What do you need from me? I don't know how many times I need to say this. It is not my fault you chose to mix and match other vendors parts. I had no way of knowing they wouldn't fit!

Based on this https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/062637.html and a Quote from the same "Need any swap parts? We've got those too! Buy everything now and save" A average customer would think your parts can be used with ANYBODYS parts.

Things I purchased from you that had issues:
1: Coolant neck: holes weren't elongated Using
2: Dog Bone: Holes don't line up when dog bone is placed in Firewall bracket and dogbone needs to be reangled down and over. Not intended for other mounts but yours. UNUSED $$??
3: Axle: too short, only for your mounts UNUSED $170
4: Down Pipe: hits firewall. Once again I guess only for your mounts USING BUT NEEDING TO BE REWORKED
5: Low mount alt bracket: missing spacer (you told me "Just use washers") Alt. bracket also sits very close to spark plug.. Can't blame that one on your motor mounts USING BUT, USING MY WASHERS AS SPACERS. YOU DIDN"T SEND THE PIPE SPACER
6: Auto Shifter bracke: Got sent a used / customer made one. However you sent me the correct one after seeing pictures of the first one sent. YOU SENT A SECOND ONE, BEING FIRST ONE WAS A USED CUSTOMERS BUILT ONE
7: Shipping on Axle, Coolant neck and Auto shift bracket took a month!""

SIMPLE FIX: You Refund me $170 for the axle, $45 for the Dogbone = $215. I send back the axle and Dog Bone and the customer built auto bracket!

Again, you still aren't telling me how it's my fault they aren't compatible. I didn't know, I don't build other vendors parts

You've never even suggested sending them back as far as I can remember. Send them back.

Joke? I don't think a single person here will say I'm at fault. I didn't know you were using FieroX mounts and I certainly had no way of knowing they wouldn't work. Get me the parts on your dime and you'll have a refund.

"Need any swap parts? We've got those too! Buy everything now and save" A average customer would think your parts can be used with ANYBODYS parts.

No Where around your statement do you say ONLY FOR MY ITEMS!! As for theyour statement "Axles for Automatic swaps $215 for PAIR All axles must be used with our mounting kit." https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/060847.html That part " All axles must be used with our mounting kit" wasn't there when I ordered the axle. I don't care how much you say it was, IT WASN"T THERE when I ordered the Axle! I see that post was edited on 10/20/12, I beleave you added " All axles must be used with our mounting kit" that comment then.

NO WHERE do you say OUR PARTS SHOULDN'T BE used with other builders parts!

I'm not the one with the questionable business practices, you are.

It takes you FOREVER to send parts out, How long will it take for a refund?? If ever?? If your Business dealings weren't so questionable I'd have no problem sending them back for a refund. I could imagine the excuses now. Mailman left it outside it was stolen, someone throw the parts out, the parts weren't in good shape (i'd take pictures before sending), the parts sent wasn't mine, the bank closed my account ..., and on and on...

I think Nobody on here would blame me for wanting to see the money before sending the parts back. Before you send anything as a seller, you expect to be paid, why shouldn't I expect the same thing?

Paypal me the money i'll send the parts out!

Have you also noticed I've added tons of pictures and more parts to the list? That was written in there long before you brought it up because another customer had an issue. Now I know. It IS NOT MY FAULT YOU MIXED PARTS.

Send them COD. There are people on here that will tell you they aren't excuses, things are actually this bad right now. I do not owe you anything. I have been nothing but courteous to you. If you had initially said to me "Hey, they don't fit with the mounts I have. Any chance I can send them back for a refund?" I would have said no problem. But, you continue to post wherever you can about how I screwed you over WHEN I DID NOT MEAN TO, I even went out of my way to send you a replacement when I was the one to notice you got something wrong, that would have even still worked. I follow every other business in the idea that in order to receive a refund, you have to send the parts back first. Getting parts done and out may take time, but a refund can be done any way you want it. Every person that has a had a problem, I have made an effort to correct things, I'm a nice guy, I'm not trying to screw anyone. We aren't talking about big money here. The Fiero portion of my business is so small it makes no difference.

Gary, I've met you in person and have no dog in this thread, but my question is why didn't you just buy FOY's mounts and sell the ones you have in the mall? It seems to be the most simple solution. My low mount alternators that I fabricate are very close to the #2 spark plug and I have a special socket that I made to be able to service the plug without removing the alternator. The dogbones I make I could never mail order because they always sit a few mm off from each swap to swap. We weld them up as needed and I buy the pieces from Rodney Dickman.

I respect anyone who does make mail order parts for the Fiero because what may fit on one Fiero may not on another....they are all a little off from each other and that fact has been stated by many builders before.

Dave

This is Steve from California, I see that there are a lot of people on the forum that have not gotten their parts from you. This is really unfortunate that all of us have had to chase you down on the forum to get a response. I ordered my parts on Oct 2, invoice number 10002, and have yet to receive my F23 mounts, brackets, or my htob that I sent to you to fabricate. I have never had an experience like this when Ive ordered something online before. I feel like my business is not important to you because you have done nothing to try to really fix the situation. Both numbers that you gave me to call you on, you never answer or even call back. I know you have some personal things going on and I am sympathetic but business is business. Do the right thing man and send us all our parts soon. I would like to know exactly when I will get my parts. Merry Christmas.

I'm just now leaving the shop but all parts are done! I know it isn't out today like I promised but I at least have parts to go out

Jake, I have you down as this being for a manual conversion. You do not need axles, your transmission stays in place

Foy, it is easy to understand why one brand of powertrain mounts won't work the same as another. Different mount designs can shift the engine side to side but not front to back. Offering to make an adjustment to Gary after one year is certainly commendable but I am at a loss to understand why the downpipe you sold Gary that attaches to the exhaust, hit the firewall. Not trying to take pots shots here but I just want to understand why it did not fit on Garys setup. Can you fill us in on this?

I have no clue. I built it on car. Only guess is because our mounts are lower and the trunk is angled out downward

Everyones parts are completed and being powdered today. Should have everything shipped by the weekend
