I no longer have my links to PFF threads I saved with Axle info - I tried to bookmark them as they came up and their was a plethora of information in them (I think the error is on my end as I prolly deleted them accidentally)

1988 GT SC3800 / 4T65E-HD Swap - Donor car was a 1997 Buick Park Avenue Ultra

Anyway the factory Buick tri-pots have a grove in them (the ones in the transmission)
...On the driver side the grove is dead center over the Rear Laterial Control Arm Bolt in the Cradle
...On the passenger side the grove is about 3/4" to the left on the Rear Laterial Control Arm Bolt in the Cradle

So I'm assuming my engine / transmission is off about 3/4 inch to the Drivers Side?

I can get some pics up if needed

Any help would be well... um very helpful

Thanks Brian,

Their were a few in the search that were helpful but the ones I had book marked aren't showing up in an Axle search - So I'm guessing they were probably part of somebodies build thread

Anyway here are some pics of my stock Buick Axles - Lines drawn for contrast

Drivers Side

Passenger Side

I was hoping to get away with the ol 2 Fiero manual driver side axles and my Buick tri-pots

I don't think that your axles are going to work. I think that the rollers are too big to mate with the Fiero. I think the only ones that work are the Grand Prix axles and the Regal axles.

Thanks Pat & Brian

I'll make a list and head out to my Pick and Pulls to try to grab some axle parts - I'll grab some 3800 minivan ones too if I can find em

Wish me luck and thanks again
