Ok, here is a nice list of cars with scoops that are used on Fieros by many listees. It should help you while traveling through the yards. 94 Grand Prix SE
88 Sunbird GT
79 Firebird/Trans Am turn this around and you have a wonderful side intake
66 Mustang Fastback
79 Mustang Turn this around and it mounts on the decklid beautifully
fieroshop.net's new scoops
Well I've probably wasted enough bandwidth on my own now, if you know other scoops put the pics up here. We need to gather information on things like this into one topic for future reference. Peace, Mike Schaefer http://surf.to/fiero

Sorry no pic, but one I've been interested in seeing is the hood vents off of later model Chevy Lumina Z34's. Seems these would fit nicely SOMEWHERE on the Fiero!
'81 camaro z28's have a vent in the same spot as that '79 trans am. that's what i have for hood vents. i think i read bbbad gt has them as air intake scoops on his v8 fiero.
Don't forget to get the headlight motors and controller from the 88 sunbird! I have an X1/9 in my yard! hasn't started for 3 years. Those scoops are functional! Drivers side is the air intake to filter, passenger side has a long foil tupe that goes up over the engine and into the back of the alternator to cool the diodes.

Headlight motors from the 88 sunbird GT?? is that stuff any use to a fiero guy? I've got an 87 sunbird GT sitting around (friends old car - soon to be field car) .. I know fiero's didnt have a lot of special parts made for them ie: a lot of parts were pulled off the shelf when the fiero was designed. what else should a person be keeping their eye out for?
Its possible I've been passing up parts for years now!

That's the original one I made which took about 8-12 hours. I made a mold of it so I can make as many as I want with much less effort, just cut a hole and drop it in on a bead of SMC adhesive, finish the edges with bondo and you're done.
