Ok ..Now that the side scoops are well underway and al most ready for shipping I decided to show you a picture of the front, but not straight on. It shows a better view of the hood vents and nose scoops this way.
Shipping for the side scoops, if all goes well health wise and I strike no glitches starts Friday.

Bangin Aus!!! How much will the front and rear fascias cost? I should be ordering my scoops next month. But eventually I'll own it all!!

S2GT, Not so

P.S. Can the front fascia come without the arrow head?

No exact price yet Stage-2 I kinda have to work things out as I build them. But it will not be a front fascia replacement but rather the mix and match bolt/bond on items shown in the previous front view posts. Keeps everyone individual that way and some may not want nose scoops etc. But I know it will be available in about a month. I have a workshop now and if I want to pay the rent I have to keep making the products.
Well mind you the rent on the workshop is very cheap at about US$36 a week for a workshop the size of a 6 car garage, and has a mezanine level over half of it. Plus it is near Ponti-World and he also has the wharehouse next door to the one I rented. Starting to create a big Pontiac dealership over here if we keep taking the other workshops HHMMM only have to kick out the wood worker and the electrical supplies people, the panel shop and mechanic can stay...LOL

In my head Tabs. Plus some input from what people liked and disliked when I posted the original design on the forum. That is one of the finished designs. There will be other mix and match options.

Hey, everyone has their own tastes. Wouldn't the world be boring if we didn't. You might like the other side panels I am doing yet. But they will come later. Much LATER! There is to be 3 other kinds.

Come on, Jim....

It would probably be easier at this point if I just sold the house and sent the cash to you. DON'T SHOW ANYTHING ELSE!!! I'm already salivating like Pavlov's dawg!

How much and how long before you ship?

Killer, Jim! I love the whole package. One thing tho-do you plan on making the rear as agressive as the front? I've seen the planned rear, but I think the front without the bottom and top scoops would be a perfect match for the rear. Good work, mate!

PS-Don't overwork yourself, ya hear?

Well, since I didn't buy that 3800 s/c from TerryK... I may be able to convince my wife to let me get started on a Stage2 conversion! I'll work on it- so count me in too!

Now AUS, you're not overworking yourself again are you?

Well to answer a few questions. It is in Photoshop. Yes it is getting made. It will be made within the next 5 weeks if the orders keep coming in for the other products so I can afford to fund it. The pattern making and moulds don't come cheap, even doing them myself. But if you want the hood vents I noticed you asked for in anther thread Doni I could probably rush that bit along to be ready in about 2 weeks or less, something to do inbetween curing times on othr things.

Oh, and no I am not overdoing things. I work short hours and it has been a month now since surgery. Another month or 2 and I will be totally back to normal, well better than normal because I felt better days after surgery than I had felt in the 3 years previous.

Aus, how much of the original fascia is used? Is the entire grill cut-out replaced or just the center V added? And what about molding in the vents at the top. Looks like you won't have much room to work it from the back...

Most of the original fascia stays Songman. There will be enough room for all the new bits to bolt in and be stuck with an epoxy two part glue (or double sided tape, automotive grade) that can stick the 2 types of material together. The reperesentation does not show the flanges very well. Also you will have to remove your fascia to fit the parts. The lower grill sction is actually larger than an original Fiero one. I just got sick of drawing and didnt put the outer flange on it. Ther is other grill options that will be available also.

I could make complete fascias but that then leaves no option for mix and match pieces and would cost me a fortune to cover every possible combination of parts I designed.

Great work Aus! I have a question. Would it be possible to create an optional fascia to go with your different trim/molding pieces? What I am getting at is I think if you took the design you have in your picture and made it onto a fascia that looked like the one from the 89-90 prototype, that would be unbelievably awesome. I'm not sure if I'm saying this right, so let me try it this way. Imagine the front of the 89-90 prototype, ok, now imagine it with the stage2 mods on it. ... .. that would look very sharp. I like how the body lines come off of the front parking lights. Anyhow, just a thought. Please let me know if you think I'm dumb or just crazy ... Take it easy!

-Fatal

P.S.
what's with those lil' round holes at the bottom on each side of the venting? They kinda look cool, but was curious as for their purpose. Also have you tested any of this or other design for there aerodynamic properties? Thanks!

I have an 89 hybrid design that will take the stage 2 parts. Future project. The botton holes can be used for driving lights or for ducting air to the front brakes, or even to the radiator.

Hey aus, are you going to make the covers for the stock turn singal holes in the fascia, like in one of your previous posts? I liked the one where you had the fog lights and amber turning lights mounted in the cover. And if they are going to be bond on parts, how are you going to do the vents that go on the top of the fascia? Man that thing looks wicked. I cant wait until I finally save up enough money to buy the kit. I made up a pic of my car on photoshop, painted bright orange, with the sides on it, lowered with the wheels I want and the sail panel extensions, and one of my friends thought it was a ferrari 355.

I'll draw them back in tonight. They are just 1 of a few options. I got tired last night after working on the kit most of the day and then drawing most of the night. Today I have done a bit more on the body kit but now it is time for some rest with the family.

Naw, Jim...

I'm gonna get some Sunfire ones from Cadaver. But we can DEFINITELY talk about the fascia. No rush, though. I'm gonna go ahead and paint with the side & trunk scoops. I can always do the fascia when it's ready. Get some rest.

Great job Aus! I like the whole concept except for the Pontiac logo and the GT. The rest looks great. I especially like the extra inlets at the top of the nose. It really serves to break up all that area. I take it they are functional. Nothing worse than fake bits and pieces.
