Okay, Ive spent 2 hours every night after work, making this thing come out the way I want before the Nationals.... First my girlfriend put the bug in for me to get started, then one of my buddys found the hood for me. A couple of friends helped me do some of the work also, first we sanded down the nasty old red.
Then the scoops were marked out on top of the hood then we cut out the top sheet, Add some resin to smooth them in, the some glazing putty and primer and late last night a test coat of white to better veiw the final touches. So what do you all think, am I crazy? I even got the RAM AIR hood sticker's from Pontiac to go on it and yes, its functional...
So whats the general opinion?

These are produced for "LUND" and are "Eclipse" model truck scoops that are applied using two sided tape ( you can find them in catalogs at most part stores). They came with fake plastic vent screens, I used old engine vents screens from my Fiero parts car to have the standard Honey comb finish...

Thats a real nice application. That side shot is exceptional. The lines work real nice. Did you seal off the inside of the spare tire area on the bottom side of the hood?

Harry...and/or Lisa, I went to the site, are they the medium or large scoops. I am assuming that they are the Medium ones..
I like the small one too. It might look good on the back.

Im assuming there the medium ones. MM, I stole them from Lisa a couple of months back after she decided they wouldnt work on a fiero(sorry Lisa, just had to throw that one in he he he), Wolfhound, yes im working on sealing the spare tire compartment, wont be any leak thru when im done. I shot the darn thing with white but after the install I noticed my faded car is now closer to and ivory color. So before the Nationals, guess what im doing?????

Harry, did you use the two-sided tape to fasten these to the hood or some type of epoxy? Also how are you keeping these funtional while prevent water from getting under the hood?
