Ok I can't tell you much about the material. The only thing I do Know is that the seats are made of injection molded foam. The material Looks to be some kind of synthetic blend(Is extremely soft to touch) High wear patches are leather( or maybe Pleather ). They are very comfortable and give excellent support. It didn't take any mods to mount them Corbeau makes mounting brackets for the fiero. The seats slide back as far as stock. However they will not recline as far back as the stock buckets, due to their design the shoulders overlap the center console a little and if pushed all the way back and reclined the seat will make contact and rub during driving causing an annoying little squeak! I don't have this problem because I am "Vertically Challenged" and have trouble reaching the pedals comfortably from the back position.(5'7" tall) But from the back of the seat to the front of the first firewall is still only about 1 1/2- 2" Also the seat sits just a tiny bit higher than stock but I like it that way.Anyone over 6' may not feel the same way. As far as pricing goes I paid about $950. for both seats and the mounting brackets but I sure you can probably find them cheaper somewhere. For more info on the seats go www.corbeau.com/brochure/carrera.html ;p ;p

Wow, that looks excellent! I have always like Corbeau seats, but wasn't sure if they would be narrow enough or not; thanks for putting those fears to bed! I think that when I get the seats, I won't get the Corbeau adapters, though. I am about 6', and I just like to be low down, so I will engineer something up that is still low slung and adjustable.
Thanks for the pics and info, those look SWEET! I especially like the four point harness capability...I LOVE a full belt, makes it much easier to feel the car.

Actually, I think you meant to ask TRiAD that question...
FYI, he charged you retail price, it looks like. If you shop around, you can almost always find prices below the MSRP on anything, except for maybe Harley-Davidsons, Plutonium, and Uranium
Yes, TRiAD...is it a possibility to POST the cost you can get us? I may be ready for a quote, or I may be only halway ready for a quote If not, that's cool..I understand how it works..and I'll get in contact with ya when I have a pocket full of cash (yeah..right).

There are many models of seats from Corbeau alone, and there are some very nice seats form Cobra and especially Sparco.
Pricing will depend on exactly what seat you're wanting (what material it's covered in), which mounting options, and timing. MANY suppliers have fluctuating prices throughout the year.
It just simply wouldn't do any of us any good to post current "virtual" prices on a single specific application. People who DO post "permanent" prices have padded them for variables in costs. I use no such padding.
Sorry, and thanks!

I love them!!!! I would definetly put the black ones in if I didn't have speakers in the seats that i do now. Everyone likes the speakers in the seats!
This might be/sound crazy. But why not put speakers where the four point belt holes are? Granted, it would probably be playing into your shoulders, but still... it's a thought
