racer wholesale carrys a mounting kit with 4 3"x3"x1/4" mounting plates.. thats what i used with my MOMO harness. $50ish

Yeah, I know there are other "cheaper" harnesses out there, but I need DOT LEGAL, since I'll be using them on the street*, and Schroth is the only one that is.

(*fractured sturnum; normal belt would kill me in a wreck)

a harness will only be functional if you have the correct seat. not a factory unit.

TRiAD, you still looking into this? I want to get some different seats eventually, like the ones with a link above; of course I want DOT approved belts in case Johnny Law feels like giving me the shake-down. That, and it's guaranteed to be crash safe...not that I would crash

I have SABELT harnesses in my car they work pretty good (5 point).

Yeah, I'm planning on Schroth rally 3s.
I will have to modify the seat, or use a different seat, so it will be a while, the top of our seats won't work well with harnesses, unless the harness is mounted right there, on the firewall, which is also an idea.

Either way, it'll be a bit.
