Lake Texoma offers some of the world's greatest fishing (striped bass) and fishing guides.

While we are there for a get together, anyone interested in going striper fishing on 350 c.i. powered air boats below the Texoma dam on the Red River.

Half-day (all you can stand), about 80$. Tackle and bait furnished and the fish are cleaned and bagged for you.

License is responsibility of the participant.

Let me know and it can be arranged.

You know, the biggest challenge in planning the Red River ruckus is not finding enough things to do, rather to find enough time in the day to take advantage of just a small portion of the available activities. Thanks for making my life harder, John!

If the missus doesn't feel like hooking bait, there is a paddleboat that does tours of the lake. So while the fellas are drinkin brews and catching some big ones, the ladies can relax on deck with a julep, or whatever.

The kids? Well, Texoma Funland offers gokarts, putt-putt golf, arcade, and batting cages. Not to mention the free recreation facilities at the lodge.

So, are y'all ready to go? Please feel free to pre-register, as we can use the support in getting some nice stuff for everyone.

Forget the fish... I like "350 c.i. powered air boats"!!! Remember On Golden Pond, when the kid takes the boat out by himself?

Remember 'Weekend at Bernie's"

"(dong!) (dong!) Whoa!!! Man overboard (dong!)"

Or 'The Great Outdoors'

"You bastard! You Bastard!"
"What's he saying?"
"He's saying... go faster! go Faster!"

This too could be a green light.

My oldest son will be 17 in September. I just found out today that he wants to drive one of our cars (or he may get his own by then) up to Texoma for the RRR. There's another one, stimpy! Don't worry, we're easily going to have 40 to 50 Fieros there, no sweat.

Ah, the day every proud father looks forward to, handing his son the keys to a Fiero!

I'll warn you in time, so you and your loved ones can be off the road when he comes.
