I have finally gotten off my a$$ and taken some pics of my Interior that is 80% done. Here are a few pics. Keep in ind that Im not done with the doors, seats, covering the steering wheel with a black leather cover, and I still have my old red floormats. Also I repaired all the vinyl coming apart from the seams.
This is the new painted aluminum look! Nice and cheap
This is a shot of the Vinyl Headliner. Hard to see in a dark garage.
This is the infamous 88 cuope that has just recieved a 2.8 with all new parts, restored rear suspension including polys, and is waiting for a fastback clip and some body mods before going in for a nice new shade of cirillion blue.
I was wondering how to do a sub box or how I would do Aus's cub console! I think a lot of measuring and stretching and hot air from a low temp heat gun or blowdrier. Honestly i think the console sub box might be pretty hard to do. The Headliner was hard and Firewall was easy, but both of those are large scale curves and wide flat surfaces. The console is tighter and would be harder. If it was me however, I would first glue on a foam padding like headliner material, then I would glue the vinyl on top of that for a smoother look and softer touch. Good Luck.

Nope! Im half way done with removing the oil pan right now and Ill tryto troubleshoot with the pan off. It might be that the pan is dented and somehow hitting the counter weights but I doubt it. Other scenarios include oil pump failure, collapsed lifter, and then, the frightening who knows what else. heres a pic of the pan. looks dented doesnt it?

I painted them with Duplicolor vinyl and plastic paint from Walmart/AutoZone. Real Cheap pretty durable. Rub the ash tray doors with acetone before painting to induce bonding. Works like a charm... Looks good too.
