So I finally get my spoiler installed. My car looks tight. And I am enjoying an afternoon of BBQ and freinds. I go to my parents house as they are having a little party with relatives and so I had to park at the end of the driveway. I pulled of the road into the grass which looked to be plenty of clearance. It seems that wasn't the case. As I pulled foward into the grass I heard the sound. The aweful, horrible, dreaded sound. CRRAACCKKK! I pulled the car back and into the driveway. That's when I notice the huge crack on the front spoiler. It cracked at both corners and a little in the front. Gee, that sucks. I am not happy right now, although I have managed to keep cool because I will have a client of mine fix it by next weekend. DAMN YOU BUMP IN THE GRASS! DAMN YOU! ------------------ '87GT 3" Drop, 17" Primax 618s/Nitto450 205/40, 4" Monza exhaust, flowmaster/no cat, "Mr.Shift" kit, custom intake, mudstain decklid scoop, FOCOA 7" wing stands & front spoiler, clear front and rear lights, custom interior, purple neons, Weapon R accessories, all optioned. Cracking fiberglass is a horrible sound...my VW baja bug has fiberglass fenders that I've cracked a few times. Very unsettling. I'm surprised you even considered pulling into the grass. Being lowered AND adding some nose-hanger on...you ought to know better! Since I lowered my car, I've been pretty careful with my car. It's especially annoying in Alabama where the entrance to parking lots are ditches (storm purposes I suppose) and I have to park somewhere else. Be careful!!! Bryce 88 GT

Well, I took the front spoiler to the shop today. Should be done quickly. Now that I am having this done, I have decided to change a few other things around as well. I am going to take off the mudstain decklid scoop. Repaint will be done to the decklid, roof, and also the end caps on the wing. I think that will go nicely with the look of the car. New pic's to be posted soon! ------------------ '87GT 3" Drop, 17" Primax 618s/Nitto450 205/40, 4" Monza exhaust, flowmaster/no cat, "Mr.Shift" kit, custom intake, mudstain decklid scoop, FOCOA 7" wing stands & front spoiler, clear front and rear lights, custom interior, purple neons, Weapon R accessories, all optioned. So, you're leaving off the Mustang scoop alltogether? Wanna get rid of it too? btw- I like the way the wing looks... suits the car nicely. And you'll have to come down this way again soon (available Sept.14th?) so we can all see it in person? ------------------ Looking for Fiero posters?

Rob- I was actually in the Minneapolis area Saturday night, but things did not turn out that great. The guy I was supposed to meet got lost, and than blew one of his airs bags on the Del Slo! He had to cruise home wiht the front end hanging down. I didn't even go to Lake Calhoun, and the roads seemed really bumpy by the MOA. I went home early and cruised hometown! I might possibly sell the scoop and wing, but not yet. You are #1 in order for that. I should be available for the 14th so look for me there. ------------------ '87GT 3" Drop, 17" Primax 618s/Nitto450 205/40, 4" Monza exhaust, flowmaster/no cat, "Mr.Shift" kit, custom intake, mudstain decklid scoop, FOCOA 7" wing stands & front spoiler, clear front and rear lights, custom interior, purple neons, Weapon R accessories, all optioned. Sorry to hear that your trip down wasn't so great. I would've tried to meet some poeple in the area Saturday night- but had other plans (with my wife).
No rush on the wing or the scoop... I'm patient- and my car will have a lot of primer black for quite sometime! Just let me know (even if it would just work out for September 14th).
