A recall can be a very good thing!

Always willing to change our ways according to the opinions expressed by Fiero owners, the registration costs for the RRR have been put back to the same as they were before the pre-registration deadline of July 31. That is: $35 for CFOG-I members, $45 for non-members.

Please spread this news to your local club members, and others who might be interested.

Oh, you might need this... http://www.cfog-i.org/RRR/index.html

Come on Texas and Oklahoma Fieros.

Lets make this happen and big. I know at lease 3 of us are coming up from San Antonio and the AAFO. Every year you own a Fiero you are closer to owning a true classic and the ONLY American mid-engined one at that.

The AAFO went to a car gathering burger place the other night and the Fieros drew as much attention as any other out there. People wanted to talk about them or relate about the one they use to have. Trust me when I tell you everyone who use to have one talked about how fun they were.

Be proud, you own a limited production, mid engined, American ahead of its time sports car.

Sorry about the soap box!

Fine. Be that way. Make me feel guilty. First all the great things about the newletter. Now the guilt trip on registrations to RRR. Fine. You win.

I'm now a member of CFOGI.
And I sent in my registration. And I'm not even 100% sure I can make it, but what the hell, if I don't, somebody can have fun on my $$$.

I'm gonna bump this up and try to catch some people who are just now getting home from work (in the Western Hemisphere that is).

Seems this cost reduction was a wise plan... there have been 3 new registrations in the last 24 hours!

Cheever,

Actually, the cost reduction made no difference to me. I just decided that if at all possible, I'd like to go. I'll also have a room reserved before the 9/11 deadline so you can count on at least one more for the free meeting room.

As a matter of fact there will be an opportunity to join CFOG-I at the RRR. But revin, I have one extra sticker... are you still coming to the Bud Classic this Saturday? I can give it to you then.

No, I can't get away for the Wacky Waco Weekend (aka: WWW). I'll ask Dale to see that you get a sticker.

There were 151 cars there last year. It's just popular vote judging, but I go because it's a nice way to see a lot of great cars.

Good question. Mostly it goes toward the T-shirts and the meal. My current projection shows the event is $3.00 shy of breaking even. Pretty close, huh?
