Hope you all just stopped to pose at that BP station. I wouldn't put that stuff in my MTD mower let alone my car. Looks like it was a fun event. Good pic's. 43 Fieros is a pretty godd turnout.

If I understood correctly, the manifold was actually manufactured by GM in 1989, or thereabouts. It's still running the stock computer, and the injectors are still batch-fired. Not sure about the fuel mapping, though. He said that it was a *lot* of fun to tune.

Thats a Ryan Falconer Racing Engines intake system. RFRE 2.8's in the 80's were making upwards of 270 hp with this intake setup.
It was custom made back in the 80's by RFRE for GMs racing program. I saw one go on ebay a few months ago for about $300. I would have got it but it wouldn't work with my aluminum heads.
That intake needs custom tuning as far as I understand it. There is a pic of it in the Chevrolet power manual. It states it needs a special computer for the fuel and timing maps to get it to run.
I bet that 3.4 is making around 220 hp if tuned right. Flows enough air to make that for sure.
