This was edited using Windows Paint so don't mind the crude lines. The hood and top front facia will be painted in a flat black and the hood will have a Warber style vent. Otherwise the car will be just red with the yellow fender crests.

What do you think, anyone have actual photographs of a flat black hood on a Fiero?

hahaha friend of mine(helmet1978) did this to his fiero he had a black one and a red one..

I like the concept of the coupe with the flat black. That would work with almost any other color also. I remember some cars back in the 70's that had that treatment..

I had a black rear deck on mine for a few weeks. I thought it looked pretty good. I gave some thought to leaving it. To do the back right you would want to continue the black line from the inside of the sail panels on down the deck. I know that may not be clear, but if you look at the body lines there I think you will see what I mean. I think it has possibilities. Foto frank has a similar scheme to what you are working on.
