Does anyone know if the car from the movie "The Wraith" is a kit car, and if so does anyone produce it? The back of the car says Pontiac and I would be interested in knowing more about this car.

Sorry, not a Pontiac. The M4S was originally designed (and used) as a pace car by Chrysler/Daimler/PPG. They destroyed something like 30 of them for the movie, but never became production cause there wasn't a market for performance cars in it's price range.

It was track-tested to a top speed of 194.8 mph.
It's transmission is the same one in the 85 Daytona Turbo.
The engine is the same 2.2 liter that was used in the Daytona, Aries, LeBarons, and Lancers, but was a mid-engine placement.
The engine in this car was a 16 valve twin-turbo design that put out over 400hp@7000 rpm, and 300ft-lbs of torque. The M4S designation stands for Mid-engine 4 cylinder Sport. There are acouple WEB sites devoted to it.

Do a search in the Archived General Chat section for "wraith II" and you'll see all the info including the Wraith II body kit for the Fiero. From what I remember they are not making the kit anymore but they probably can make one if the cost is right since they do have the molds.

No, the back of it does not say "Pontiac." It's got a Chrysler pentastar logo on the front and it's the Dodge PPG Pace Car. Chrysler isn't going to put a Pontiac logo on their car.
