Okay, I have not tried this *yet*... but I am planning this as a future modification. I was (and still am) looking for a kit that would allow parabolic hella lights (same as WMac's fierroari), but in a non-popup version similar to tom's headlight kit. Well, after removing everything, and measuring, there is simply not enough room without doing some cutting. To do this mod, it will require measuring 4" back from the headlight opening, and enlarging the hole. Not quite something for the faint of heart. However... Here are 2 pics which I believe may show it's worthwhile. My custom 2 minute photoshoppy-dealie:

An actual 355 kit with the same idea I found:

Pretty cool, eh?
[edit] that photoshop was taken from actual 4" measurements, and would represent the true done job quite closely.

And yet another 1/2 done photoshop with a 355 nose...

Almost looks real in that one...

Hey I think it could work... I know it could!! If you think of the picture's of the 1990 prototype the headlight's ARE moved up the hood some like that! Step up and make the kit..

Just one then?

Two would be overkill anyway, right?

What about pop-DOWN headlights? I saw a ferarri kit with them but can't remember where, nor if they would work with the stock fiero hood and bumper.

Hmmm... I'm not so sure about opening up the headlight area to the rear...? Seems like it becomes a bit of an akward space/shape then.

Since you seem to rather like the Ferrari-styled recessed lights, how about something more along these lines: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/020580.html

They were created by "Hybrid2M6" (using a diamond-cut chevy truck light) and the headlight assemblies are no longer attached to the hood...

Which gives you that cool Ferrari-hood-shape

That settles it. Those are mine! Those are seriously the look I was going for... more or less... Not sure about the diamond cut, but it's cool. Looks a lot like the lamborghini murcielago lights.. but maybe that's just my imagination stretching
