Well, after a bunch of e-mails to our regular attenders, the date almost unanimously chosen was Saturday June 7. Anyone is welcome to attend. More info to follow.

Could you send me some more details on this, some of our guys would probably go.
ottawafiero@rogers.com
What we do is meet here in at 11:00 AM in London (Lambeth) at our place, cruise up to Grand Bend for a few hours to hang out / have a few drinks or icecream / cruise the strip, then head back here. We live very close to the 401 and 402. It's a good time of pics, chatting and meeting new Fiero owners.
Here is a pic to our place. Just follow the black line. But where it says Mill Rd. is not right. Map Quest has it labeled wrong, it should say Hamlyn Rd.
Let us know if you need any more info.

Is the first cruise gonna be like the final cruise of last year?
You talking about the BBQ / campfire part? It depends on what everyone wants to do. If people want to do that, we can plan it. Let us know - it was fun in October. I'm planning on getting dash plaques made up for those who attend.

I think a BBQ like last year would be awesome. That was fun, even better that it will be on a Saturday.
I can't wait. There should be at least 7 or 8 of us from the Toronto area. Pete/Becky I just sent you an email. If you do decide to have the barbeque let me know and I can bring some hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, etc. As well as a lot of food from work like Oreos, Chips Ahoy!, Fudgeo, bits & bites, crispers, etc.
Anyone have any idea on what kind of turn out were going to get? What about last year, how many attended?

We usually do three cruises. One in the spring, summer and fall. Averaging about 10 cars each time. We had the most turn out at our last cruise in October last year. Pete has met alot of new Fiero owners through his work over the winter so we expect to have our highest turnout this year. Here is a pic to show you the cars in our driveway from the October cruise. Keep in mind that there were cars parked on the road too! You should check out the video done of the October cuise - we had it available on DVD to everyone who attended. Thanks to Toogy!

We were out at St Thomas drag way last night and had a blast. And thought it would be a great addition to June 7th cruise, here is the scoop, $15.00 for car and drive, $5.00 for each addtional person. starts a 6:00 pm and goes 10:00 pm, as many runs as you want.
It is street class, race what you drove, cars were doing 18 sec down to mid 13's, here is a link to the place http://www.stthomasdragway.com/
So what do yous think?
It was great watch Beck put'n the hammer down with a .504 recation time compared to my 1.120
It was a serious blast doing the time trials! I didn't realize it was that easy Between Pete and I, we did 13 passes with my car and it never knew the difference. It was fun watching all those cars in my rear-view mirror. I think it would be a great add-on to the Grand Bend cruise. There is a ton of space and lots to see for those who don't want to do any runs.

We're back! The cruise date is June 7 meeting at the park behind our place at 11:00 am. So we plan to cruise to the bend, come back for a bbq and go out to the St. Thomas drag strip. It's a night where you race what you drove. Lots of fun there - watching chevettes go up against 13 sec mustangs. It's all fun and you don't have to race if you don't want to, there is lots to see. We're going to be racing my car to see how fast it goes now since all the mods done for the Carlisle show. Here's the link: http://www.stthomasdragway.com
