Like the title says.. The friend of mine that was going is unable to make it now, problems with his boss.. I'll be driving my Neon R/T, not my Fiero unfortunately. I have an extra banquet ticket, and a 2-person room at the Marriot reserved. My plan is to leave on Wednesday, meeting up with some RI guys for the trip, stay Thurs, Fri, and Sat nights, then leave Sunday evening and get a hotel in Ohio. Monday I'm going to spend at Cedar Point amusment park, home of some of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world. (And most roller coasters in one place, I believe..) Then I'll leave Monday evening for Ma. If nobody wants to go, I'll be driving solo, and sucking down large amounts of Caffene to stay awake!! Anyone? I don't bite, I promise! I could possibly arrange to pick someone up if they're not *too* far away (or on the way there too of course), we'll probably be leaving around 4:30pm on Wednesday. It's gong to be a lonely trip by myself! LOL See you all there!

LOL... I've got some candy for ya........ That's too bad.. I really want someone to come with me! I'm going to go insane if I have to drive all the way there and back by myself! And going on roller coasters alone is not going to be a great thing. I'll look like a moron.. At least I'll be able to say I've been on a 400+ foot coaster.... I could always charge ya $5, then it wouldn't be a "free" ride..

Hope the Dragster is running when you get there, I was there the middle of June and it was coming down the hill BACKWARDS because it had too little velocity when it reached the crest. (I hear they resolved it, though, so it should be running) I also hope you want to stand in line. The first 2 days I was there it was rainy so we got on anything we wanted to...the third day, it was nice, and WOW there was even a wait for the Iron Dragon! lol. Well, I guess I should close this novel now...

LOL... Yeah, I think they were trying to have it fixed by the 4th. I hope I can get on it! Man it's going to be boring standing in line by myself!!! I may have to cancel that part of the trip, and just go with some friends later. I really want to go though!!

:-D I have until tomorrow to figure it out, otherwise I'll have to sell the banquet ticket to one of the guys who waited to long.. I'd really like to go with someone, especially if we stop at Cedar point. I'm pretty sure I'm going to skip it if I'm by myself... Unless I can convince someone else to go on the way back.. Still would be nice to have someone in the car for the ride! I'll bring DVD's! I'd say popcorn too, but I don't think I can fit a microwave...
Doh! I think I'm going to leave Wednesday night now, pretty late.. I can't do anything at Waterford, and that's pretty much the whole day Thursday. The drive-in movie isn't until Friday night, so I think I'll be better off getting some sleep before I drive for 12 hours. It's 2:30am now, and I gotta be up at 6:30!!!! I've been building HUD things all freakin day. These things take waaaay too long to build!!! I may only have a few done to bring to the 20th. I need some sleep now! Oh yeah - the Hotel is already paid for, so that's a freebie. If nobody ends up going with me, I'll still have the room if anyone needs one. 2 beds! lol As long as whoever it is doesn't mind soldering - I'm probably going to be finishing some HUD's there in the room...

LOL... I'm actually going to skip the roller coasters. I'll be leaving Sunday, when depends on exactly what's going on up there. I figure my friends and I will make a seperate trip to Cedar Point sometime for all that fun. So far the plan is to leave around 10pm - 12am tonight, and hopefully get there a little after Noon tomorrow.. In time to watch some cars run at Waterford, but I won't have to sit around while they do the driver training. I still need to find a map of Canada though! If you find out that you can go Jaime, give me a call before I leave tonight and we can figure it out. I've PM'd you my cell # just in case. I'll probably be sleeping, but leave a message!
