Please be advised that there have been 5 deaths just recently in the east Metro Detroit area in the last few days, that were due to 'Drag Racing' on public roads. All seperate incidents except for one, which killed both driver and passenger. The Police east of Detroit are going to be a little less tolerant of anyone showing any kind of display of speed. Just thought I'd make you aware of this matter, it's unfortunate that this would happen so close to our event.

Thanks for the word of warning bud. Plus I69 is under construction about 30 miles north of the I69 and I80-I90 Intersection. Not to bad of time delay but just a pain in the A$$ if you know what I mean. Just to let those know that are going to be coming up that way.

This is a very good reason for me to try and be smart and stay out of trouble while I'm up there. I'll have some friends with me and I'm likely to get myself into trouble if I don't have a good excuse not to.

The weather for Waterford on Thursday is not looking good at this point, rain/thunderstorms are forecasted from 12 noon continuing through the evening. Keep your fingers crossed that the Michigan Weather stays 'un-predictable' as it has in the past.

Bump....and the weather forecast appears to be improving by the hour, forecast now reads thunderstorms starting around 3pm. With any luck it will keep moving deeper into the pm.
