I've been sitting here, reading the different reports on the 20th show, and I'm frustrated that I'm not there! Of course, I have a good reason...my wife had a very mild heart attack last Sunday, and that's why I'm still at home. But it got me to wondering...just how many of us are still here, hitting PFF and checking for new pics? Count me as one...

I'm here... Because like my Mom used to say on family road-trips, "No, we're not there yet, we're here. We're always here, because you can't be there, once you're there, it becomes here. GOT IT?" Hehehe... Good ol' Mom.

I'm heading up tomorrow, the weather is going to be great. I hope your wife has a speedy recovery. I am taking my video cam with me, really looking forward to seeing the GM prototypes, especially the 1990!

I'm on the forum AND at the show, its great that the Marriot has free internet access, and I have friends who bring laptops!!!
I'll keep getting pics for you guys. Most won't come until saturday unfortunately, as I'm trying to save camera space for each and every Fiero that attends!

I'm here at home. The thing is, I'm buying a home and closing October 1st. I need the money for my down payment, and other expenses that come along with it. I wish I could have gone, but Fieros will be around for a while still.

I'm still here, leaving for Pontiac friday morning around 3. I hope to be there around 5 or 6pm. (I should probably be in bed, 3am is only 4 hours away)
I am here also. i have to save my Vacation time for my real vacation next month. Going to Greece for a month.
Glad to hear your wife is doing better. keep a real good eye on her. My father died of a heart attck last year without warning. If she feels any type of discomfort or pain, take her to the hospital.

Hope your wife is OK. I am trying to get another Fiero going that is running well enough to go on a long road trip. That we can go to things like this as a family. The wife can drive one car and I can drive the other with my son. Otherwise I would need to trailer the car to have room for the family. It will be a few years before my son can drive and then I will need three going. Hope he still has the interest that he has now. We are going to some next year. (for sure) We will have at least three running maybe four by then. Always looking for more.

Dang job!!! I'm here tring to get my fix via the pictures taken but those there. I'd give my eye teeth to be there but it just didn't work out. I might slip down there tommorow but I doubt it since I could only stay for an hour or so.
I am still here, and doesnt feel like without the big names, we little guys are posting some of the stupidest stuff?? LOL! I'm joking, but it does feel very empty and lonely around here. Wierd seeing your newly posted thread still close to the top when you come back in 2 hours. Just my 2 cents.

That's what I always said about Fieros at Carlisle We drove to Michigan last year, and I couldn't convince the wife to let me do it again for the 20th...
Hope your wife is well

Everybody has talent and potential when they are twenty. The challenge is to still have it at forty. - paraphrased from Edward Degas
I'm here now, but I'll be going tomorrow. Yep, get to wake up at 5:00 A.M. and drive the four hours down. Stay for a couple hours and drive an hour to Frankenmuth for my Grandmother's birthday.
My dad's still trying to make excuses not to go. "So, this is the only Fiero show this year?" "Yep."
