I want this intercooler setup for my car. The intercooler is under the vented wing. I wish they would have made the 1990 car.

I am not sure how well this would work. I know if water droplets were on the top center of the wing they stay there at 60 mph with out being blown off. The wind blows the droplets off about to the wings stands/stilts.

IMO, this is a prototype, does not mean it works. you see the car has side scoops too in the 1/4 windows

I like it too though.

Pete

1990 headlights. I spoke to many nice people today. I told everyone about the forum that did not know about it. Hope to get new members to post pics of their fieros.

Prototype had a decklid like the 1st MR2. The trunk is much bigger than our fieros.

Here is a pic of the '90 proto trunk. It was huge! You could fit an adult body in there. I was asked if I wanted to get in to show how big it was but I declined.

Wouldn't the side scoops bring the air in over the decklid and flow it over and under the spoiler/IC?

Maybe the air flowing over the top of the spoiler, would suck air THRU the wing up through the IC.

They probably weren't looking for it to be in direct air.

If you ever take a straw, put it in a cup of water, and just blow over the top, you'll notice it'll suck the water up through the bottom.

Well air blowing over the top of the wing, would pull air up thru the IC, from the already upward current behind the car.

Just a thought.
