Just wondered if there was any visible TV or Magazine coverage at the show.
Would like to know what to watch for.

Thanks

Unfortunately not, some guy is making a DVD but he's another fiero guy. No major tv, or magazine coverage, unless the story is sent in by somebody that was there. In fact the sad thing is, unless you knew the 20th was gonna be there, you probably wouldn't of known, cause there weren't any signs or banners up at the major intersections.

So, does John Lithgow have a Fiero? He was in the lobby after the banquet.. Someone went after him but I don't know if they talked to him. Probably just staying the night or something.. Hope he saw all the cars!

Also, is there any sort of official Fiero count? One thread said aprox 200 and on another one, someone made a remark about 400
cars being there.

Nope, Elvis has left the building on Wednesday, checked out, destination unknown.

Man there were sure a lot of people taking serious pictures with 35mm, nice Digitals, and real expensive cam corders. None looked to represent any type of publication, time will tell.

What did channel 7 say? Anything good or was it one of those... "A bunch of people and their dying usless fire bound cars got together to have a mass flaming suicide"...
deals. Basically like they could care that they were there and wished they werent! I hate news reports like that!

They said at the banquet following the show, that 335 cars were registered and went thru the judging lanes and that 400 Fieros were in attendance.

I don't know what channel this was on, it may be what you all were talking about, but last night when we were at the bar at Applebee's, we caught the tail end of some news coverage where someone was being interviewed from the show, although the volume wasn't on, so I don't know what was said.

My wife had a picture taken with John Lithgow and also got his autograph. He's a really nice guy.

I also heard (I did see a rather large private bus parked outside) that Christina Aguilar (sp) spent the night on Thursday since she and Justin Timberlake had a concert in Detroit. I heard Justin stayed at the Holiday Inn.

that would suck if the started buying some, resale values would drop dramatically, the Fiero already has a bad enough reputation

There was an article on the event in a nearby newspaper that one of the coordinators showed me. Sadly they said a lot more about the failures and problems of the fiero than they did about the 20th event. It even sidetracked and talked about corvettes in one paragraph. Very disappointing.

Sounds good. And your car in a news article of an event like this is something you should really consider framing.
