I wanted to say Thank you to everyone from CFOG-I and the Michigan Fiero Club for putting on the 20th Anniversary show this Weekend. I know you sacrificed a great deal of your free time for this show, so that everyone could have the Fiero event of a lifetime.

A bunch of guys and gals (many of whom had never even met in person before) from the internet get together & decide to try to put together a show. They meet in a chat room at least once a week for more than a year. They decide to put on a big show and join up with the established Michigan Fiero Club.

Now MFC has always put on a great Regional show every year & I'm sure they would have been able to do it again this year. But they kindly set asside their regular Summer show to help CFOGi with this show. Together, with the help of PFF, these 2 groups put on a show that is the largest gathering of running Fieros since the car was dis-continued.

The combination of CFOGi (an Internet based group), Michigan Fiero Club (a Club with experience putting on shows with their "on the ground" staff), The Internet & PFF, Made the show a success. Without any one of those factors the show would have been just like any other show. With all of them working together it was a fantastic show.

I'd like to thank you all.

Yes, wish I could have been there. Judging by the sheer number of posts on the 20th, CFOG-i and MFC put together one helluva show!

Chuck, Dale, Bob and Barb did a great job with putting together the show. Now you can relax and bask in the knowledge of a job well done.

I concur, great event. Well organized and ran, especially when you consider the sheer volume of attendees. I enjoyed myself immensly. Even though no one responded to my post to give me directions. HAAAAAAAA HA I still made it.

I was not going to go to the show but i convinced my wife to let me go since this would be a once in a life-time event. I am glad i saw the show. For a first time show cfog-i did a graet job. There were a few bugs to work out but i know they will be addressed by next years show. For those of you who did not go, there will be a dvd for sale. Thank you cfog-i, mfc, those on the internet, Archie, and a special thanks to my wife!!

Just got back to Tampa, FL and everyone from Florida thanks everyone of you that helped put the show together and run it for the entire 4 days! This was the largest show I've ever attended and that has been all we talked about on our way back to Florida. Thanks again!!!

As Eric and Dale already said, one of the reasons we had such a great time is because of the people that participated. No fights or drunken brawls, very few problems, people got along really well, which in and of itself is a miracle when you get 400+ cars in one spot in competition with each other in one form or another.

We had a great time and we're already working on the show for next year. We don't know how we can match or top this one with all the proto's and concepts, but we're going to try.

I have the same situation. My fiancee flew in from DC to see me for my birthday, and I had to con her into going up to MI for this car show. I think that it was quite interesting, that the fiero 20th anniversary, and my 21st birthday were the same weekend.

Anyways, I really wish I could have contributed more to the show, but you all (CFOGi and others) did a great job, for a once in a lifetime event.

As a younger member of the forum, I thank those of you who have been around the car longer than I have. Without your enthusiam and car knowlege, it would be nearly impossible for us newbies to get started. I hope that the parts vendors can stay around as long as there are people who need parts. I know I'll need parts for quite some time.

Thanks again. The 20th was really special, especially for me.

Beautiful cars, beautiful weather, great company, putting more faces with forum names, and all those FIERO WOMEN!

Yes CFOGi and Michigan Fiero Club did a fantastic job! So many cars to see. I had a mental list of the cars that I wanted to see and get a photo of. I missed some. mrfixit58 were you there? Oh I can't believe I missed your car. Darn. I wanted to see your interior. I was so awe struck that I must have missed. Two words come to mind regarding the show SHOCK AND AWE!!! I would also thank you for the fantastic time as well. I was great to meet all the people with the same Fiero interest. I also went on the Poker run on Sunday morning, and managed to get lost. Together FieroJim, Marcie, and myself cruised around Pontiac and enjoyed the sites. It was a great long weekend.

It's going to be one hard show to top. I had a blast and I was pleased to be able to meet several of the PFF names and put faces to them.

I only wish I could have brought a car. It would have been mighty uncomfortable driving with Aidan (my 6 month old son for those not there) strapped to my chest for 2500 miles.

I sit content in the firm belief that I will never see a Fiero event that will top this one. This was Fiero history, and I am proud to have been a part of it.
Thanks to CFOG-I, the Michigan folks, Chuck, Dale, Bob and Barb, George, etc., etc., and all the others who pulled this thing together.

(Waterford was the most fun I have ever had with my clothes on. )

I, too, wish to give thanks to the people involved for making this the Monster Fiero Show of all time. As Raydar said, how could it ever get better than this one? We'll be remembering this one over cold drinks and at club meetings for as long as any of us is still around.

Thanks to all the people who clearly spent so much time on all that went into making the show so wonderful. It's amazing to me to think of all the thousand and one things that people had to do to make this work. I marvel at how many people-hours it took to get it all done. You can't pay people enough to work that hard on something, it truely was a gift to the Fiero Community.

Thanks So Much to All, we'll be grateful always.

CFOG and PFF Just showed how a show should be done. FOCOA failed to adapt and now CFOG and PFF has taken over.

I'd like to add my thanks to all involved with this show. As Telron said, This was the biggest show we've been to. With 400 cars thats just fantasic.

So glad I was part of such a huge historic show. You guys did a great job, and have my thanks. I loved talking with the other forum members & seeing their Fiero's.

In case anyone else wants to say "thanks."

I would just like to say that planning has already begun for next years "bash".

The road course will be even safer, better, and more fun that Waterford (if that is possible). A huge runoff area by comparison, and no gravel pits (which saved California Kid's car from a much worse fate at Waterford - - ). The drag strip is state of the art, often Nationally televised. An autocross WILL be held, and we are trying to put it together using a Pro Solo format, or similar.

The show site will be bigger, and better laid out.

And best of all, everything will be at ONE site, ONE location. We may even have some of the events running concurrently! There will be no caravans - - etc.

I want to thank the tireless efforts of MFC & CFOG to pull off an event that has no comparison in the Fiero world. I still would like a street or email addy to personally thank someone at GM who allowed the proto's out of the kennel.

No caravans to/from the events. No 1 hour + solid driving in traffic to Milan, 20 minutes (also in traffic) to Waterford. Everything will be in one place, on one site.

Probably a little pre-mature, but have you picked a host state? Will this show roll from state to state, year to year or is Michigan going to be the official anniversary show site?

CFOGi "National" shows will NOT be held at the same place each year .... we plan to move things around a bit and even try to pick locations that have never been used for Fiero shows before ... we even hope to do a "national" in Canada at some point in the future !!!! It's our goal to try to make these shows as accessable as possible to everyone !
