We just got home safely. I wanted to thanks some people.
First, thanks to Kameo Kid for being so hospitable and letting us stay in his beautiful home. That was great and we felt at home. It was so nice to break the long drive home up in both directions. . I also want to thank him publicly for getting the ball rolling to get the GM cars there.
Second, I want to thank the show organizers for pulling off such an awesome show. Hands down best show I ever attended.
Thirdly, I wanted to thank all the folks that came up to talk with me and let me know how they appreciated my car. That really meant a lot. I was really floored with the attention that the car got. It makes the work all worthwhile. I wish I had a book of all the forum members’ names that I talked with to help me remember. I was overwhelmed at times. So if I talked to you please post here to help me remember. Also I would really appreciate you posting any photos of my car I did not get much chance to take pictures.
Thanks again everyone.

I asked you how you were able to get the red neons under your Fiero to mount without being seen. You said to go look and see first hand, and when I still couldn't figure it out you came over and personally showed me your added little trick
Thanks man. Jordan says thanks too, as now we can add a realy nice set of green neons under his Fast and Furious Fiero
You are truly a very valuable member of this Fiero community. Many times a picture makes a car look better and hide small flaws ( this is true with most of our Fieros). In your case SkiTime, pics do not do your Fiero enough justice. It is true that you have to SEE your awesome Fiero personally first hand to see how awesome it really is and to truly know what an incredible piece of workmanship you have done with it.....so far I have your Fiero on video, and the night footage with the neons and the headlight door lettering blinking is truly amazing to watch, but it still is not the same than seeing it in person.
Keep amazing us with your sweet Fiero and incredible mods.
I would like to thank you skitime for doing those blasts in and out of the hotel parking lot sunday morning..It made my day..
what a sound!!
you need a limited slip.. your inside right wheel was spinning quite a bit!
JM
You are right when I apply power the tires will even slip in second with heavy acceleration. The right tire is wearing down faster than the left rear wheel. (Long axles break the tires easier.) Front tires are like new but the rears are down to the tread bars. Hmmm wonder how that happened. lol I would love to hear and see that video. I was really gunning it for you. Anyway to post it or send it to me? Thanks

Yes, we plan to be at the Dutch Classic show. Hope to meet you there. If you go to Hershey, you are also welcome to stop and visit.
I was there with my father, who told you your car was the best one there. He said afterward he could tell you wanted to talk cars, but he just doesn't know anything about them He really liked the paint job.
I commented on the 'famous see-through decklid', but I was so intimidated by meeting such a famous celebrity I didn't want to embarrass myself. I would loved to have talked more, but it's just easier on the forum here, knowhatimean?

It was great to see your car in person it is one of the reasons my girlfriend and I got up at 4:30 am to drive to Michigan but it was well worth it to have my 4 yr old son say "Daddy that is the the engine with the blower on it that is on your computer" Thanks for taking the time to talk to us. Hope to see you again soon.

Well glad I got the chance to say Hi to Skitime. His car was even more than I expected. I was really tempted to grab the trailer and head back at night, my problem would have been selecting 3 cars to take. I was considering
Cali's Skitimes Turbo Proto Convertable Proto 1990
With that selection they would have caught me the next morning still trying to deceide.

The video guy was probably Steve Guentert (fierogt88) since I saw him shooting some video down in the parking lot Sunday morning when I was packing my car. E-mail him and he may be able to get you some footage....he's a real cool guy who I got to know Wendsday night since we split the cost of my hotel room that night.

I really wanted to talk to you regarding your car. I finally came over and you were busy so I decided I'd come back. Well that never happened. I was bummed. I did get to see the car however and when I get my pictures I'll show you one of the cool shots I took of yours and Kameo Kid's car.
I introduced myself, young red headed guy with a great sunburn going.
As others said, it lived up to the pictures I've seen on the internet and then some...I don't know how you can possibly keep it that tidy and clean. It must have something to do with all that trailering.
There were so many small mods I wanted to check out that I forgot a few, but I wasn't worried because I know you've detailed everything on the forum for us anyway! There was a burning question I thought of on the way home, though....was there anything new for the 20th? Of course I was so overwhelmed just trying to "find" the things you've already showed us that I didn't notice anything.

Thanks for the compliments. No the new items on the car were the 12" Corvette rotors and the chrome caliper brackets. The cleanliness of the car is a credit to Vonnie. She work hard for 2 full days cleaning the car. I am all thumbs when it comes to detailing a car. She was great. Our trophy really belongs to her. We drove through rain on the way home and the car is filthy now.

Hey Dave I don't think I ever introduced myself but I was one of the younger guys parked right near you. I was with the Toronto crowd (under the green canopy) and I drove up with Al Price (white GT parked next to yours). I was around quite a bit.
You might remember on saturday night I took a video of your car and all its shiny lights and blinking lights and when I leaned over the back you used your remote starter!!
I came around the car and told you that your exhaust spit on me. I hope you remember who I was, its a great car and I only regret that I didn't get more pics of it than I did.

Sorry about the spitting. I will have to teach the car more manners. I do remember you though. If there is anyway to send the video of my car I would love it.
