No maps that I saw, no official leave time that a bunch of us were aware of and those of us who came out when everyone was leaving tried to catch up but got lost...it was a bummer.
I was with at least 20 cars. Thing was, it was hard for folks to keep up at lights, and some Crazy intersections. At one point, they all pulled into a liquor store for all the others to get through one particularly slow intersection. They then hit Woodward. Some of the first few cars were cruising Pretty quickly too.

Fierochick88, MinnGreen, and Myself ended up getting lost. But on our way back to a Wal-Mart Or as MinnGreen calls it Wallie World, we passed a good line of like 20 Fieros. But I still had fun. It was great to meet you two finally after seeing you on the forum. We must do that again.

We didn't see too many cars, we were in our red Mercury Mountaineer rental with a video camera but all I got on film was like 3 Fieros cruising back to the hotel infront of us. We also saw a couple white fastbacks parked in a lot talking to a cop and we honked at them
We were at the steakhouse . When the group left , we tried to catch up.No luck . it seems like a race on woodward... At least we saw woodward ..........

I think only a handful of people knew where the "official meeting place" was supposed to be. I think everyone should have just met back in the hotel parking lot and left from there. But since there was no real organization, it ended up being just a bunch of small groups of Fieros driving all over Woodward Ave.
It was also a bummer cause those who didn't go to the dinner at Big Buck's were unable to get to the cruise becuase everyone just left right from dinner.

I agree the cruise was a disappointment. I want to thank fiero38sc for giving me ride since I only had a rental car. Overall the show was great, this was the only letdown for me. My thoughts are:
1) No map 2) No meeting place on Woodward 3) The leaders left the rear of the pack; they should have waited for the group to reform on Woodard. 4) People tired from a full day in the heat at Waterford, so the participation was low.
A minor problem with an overall great show.

I saw about three dozen Fiero's drive by but no one stopped for a bottle of "ice-water". Thats cool though, I had plenty the next day at the drag strip for everyone.
On Woodward you need to be in packs of less than a half dozen to make the lights. Nevertheless, everyone out there can say, "I cruised Woodward Avenue"!
Less than a month before the Dream Cruise, Saturday nights really get quite trick out there, like American Grafitti. We will do better next time!

I have to laugh everytime I hear this. I think it depends on who you talk to. For me the cruise was Awesome! Other than meeting all the great people I met at the show the cruise was one of the major highlights of the weekend!
I cruised with turbotoad and many others. It seemed like at every light for awhile there was at least a dozen Fieros beside me, four wide at a number of lights and I think there was a lineup of 30-40 at one time making a Michigan left. We pulled into a gas station and every car was a Fiero or a kitcar! Luckily the group I was with was able to stay together, we lost a few people that wanted to tag along, but it wasn't long before we hooked up with more. Had I got caught by a light I would have kept cruising until I found another group to cruise with. That's what it's all about!
To make a cruise a success, you've gotta to be OUT there cruising the strip. The most dissapointing thing for me was seeing a large line of Fieros heading back to the hotel on Opdyke when we were just hitting Woodward and it wasn't all that late.
There were a ton of places to park and meet up all along the strip. Sure maybe some details could have been planned a little better... but the plan after all was to cruise Woodward!
