Looking really good.

I'm afraid to say it but by the time you paint & lower the car and put on just the right wheels, that car is going to make a very nice street & show car.

Keep up the good work.

the wing looks like a notchback clip cut off and fitted to another notchback clip to make a wing.

Tyler, how about some pics of the decklid? I seem to remember that you double hinged it so that you can open it with your rear wing. Also, I noticed the "Fiero LT" on the decklid... NICE job on your car!

Very impressive Tyler, I guess my drawing wasn't too far off.

I should have left the 14" HiTech wheels on it

i'll be interested in how you work the back lid. i brought a fiero where someone had glassed on a wing that way and split the lid so it came off as two lift off parts, one over the engine and one over the trunk.

i pretty much don't like it and took the wing off and put on another i like better that attatches like normal. still trying to figure out how to hinge the lids. i may try to suicide them.

Mabie some of us will see you at the Dells Run next year with the car. This years show was pretty good. I think some people were saving their vacations for the 20th though.

on offence, but in the side view , the wing makes it look like a Grocery cart

i like the side scoops, where did you get them. im asuming theyre fiberglass, and not the rare polly ones

id like more info about the decklid

lookn good!! when you paint it is it going to be blue to match the motor?

I must say GT-X has done a really great job on this car. I just wish we both could have had our cars done for the 20th. Then we both could have drove them up together. Maybe we might have got a ticket too.. Sorry Stan had to joke with ya bud. I hate cops too. Just don't tell them I said that. The first car show I think GT-X and Korey J go to with these cars is the one held by our sponser. I will let all know where and when that will be. I can only say I know it will be in Hastings Michigan. Until next time great job on the car bud.

Hehe, I know how the decklid goes up, or so I was told at the 20th. A riddle hint, I hope this makes sense: It pops up over the hill and sits on top. Hopefully that isn't confusing.

Just curious but has anyone tried splitting a Fiero rear deck so that the engine cover and the trunk lid are two separate pieces. The engine cover should be relatively easy, just cut it at the rear bulkhead and use pins to hold it down (unless you could reduce the tension significantly, you would have to lose the hood springs).

Hinging the rear section would pose more of a problem, although close examination of a number of different hinge configurationa should come up with one that works. I noticed that the 1990 prototype had separate covers, as did the Fiat X1/9, which has a very similar mechanical layout.

As for your wing, if it were an aftermarket add-on I would not like it, but using a roof section to precisely echo the roof line, in reverse, shows some thought, and a flare for the original. That, and your huge hood vent, defines your car.

Sorry to drift off topic but I am curious.

Ira

guessed from the hint, are you going to steal something from the sport compacts? where the rear decklid goes up but it still is parallel to the roof line?? that should be very trick!!

Ewwww....red? Red sucks. Everyone needs to paint their red Fiero a different color, except me. There's too many red ones.

Glad the car is working good for you. When do I get a ride in it?
