Yet another 20th thread.

What was the deal with that? I was really suprised not to see any. Plus the fact that I think a few of them are somewhat local.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Dave Bagwell (DL10), and know for certain he paid to attend the show. I don't know if he was going to bring the GBCT or his Predator....

But anyway, he was called upon to be a pall bearer at funeral for a friend, and was not certain if he could make the show. What he DID do was meet the TX/OK/KS/MS caravan in Bloomington and escorted our band of 9 or so cars and trailers to a gas station/food place. He was in the GBCT and took a lot of video of our merry band.

He was very apologetic he wouldn't make the show, but given the responsibility of his situation, I can well understand. I held out hope that he would show up late Saturday... but no dice. He DID want to come though

As you may know, Archie brought his blue Fino instead of the Stinger. I don't know the whereabouts of that sweet silver car he recently chopped or the PPE.

That would have been cool. I have yet to see a chop top Fiero in person.
Oh well, it was still a great show

Blake, that must have been cool to see the GBCT again. That is still my favorite Chop top.

I was surprised not to see any either. I had intended on driving my choptop, but decided against it after realizing there would be no class for folks not wishing to compete in the show (reduce fee, no goody bag, no dinner tickets, etc). So I removed all body panels about two weeks ago, and will begin prepping them for paint. Hopefull my car will look decent enough to bring next years show.

Chop Top,

Finally going to get that thing painted huh? I saw your car last year at the Lansing get together and thought about how cool it would look when completed. Tigger also told me that your car has looked like that for as long as he can remember. So it will be awsome to finally see the car without the multi colored panels.

BTW, what color are you planning on painting it?

Yep!

I noticed that I was the only front engined Fiero there. Not that I'm complaining or anything!
