there was also a nice job done on moving the wing a lil more to the rear of the car for a nice look..

He's a nice guy. Sorry, I don't remember his name, but I did speak to him. He also mounted an electric antenna in the driver's side of his rear quarter panel.

Kameo... Thats not the same GT as the thread you are thinking about( I'm a mindreader... ) He had done his front vent's more like mine... except not as deep(wide)...
Nice GT though!!

I think I looked at that car. If I did it didn't look like the person had made those vents functional. However, the body work was fantastic and making them funtional would not have taken much.

i would like to do this to the GT for next year but i would also like to make them funtional..

I think the build up thread you're thinking of was Voytek's, he was at the show too, I didn't get to meet him but I saw his car, it was yellow and had the vents like that but they looked more long and stretched out and he made them himself.
His Name is Craig he is from Florida and he just finish the nose right before the show and did not have time to make them functional, but I know he was planning on doing it soon. Did you see the emblem on the car?

This car was amazing. The first time I saw it I was like man that is the nicest GT I have ever seen. It was one of my favorite cars there by far. The amount of detail he took into consideration on his car was amazing too. It wasn't over the top at all on mods and just looked sleek. I think he planned on putting a V8 in it in the coming months. The guy was great to talk to you and was one of the coolest guys I talked to. A great guy and an awesome car!

Thanks to everyone for the very nice comments about my car, and I enjoyed talking to everyone while walking the show and seeing your great looking cars. As you can see I don't post much but enjoy the reading. The car is an 86 1/2 GT painted Torch Red and I have owned it since 1994. I have been a member of Central Florida Fieros since then and help with the club. The car has won alot of trophies over the years, mostly in Fiero show competitions. To answer some of your questions, the vents are from the Trans Am and are the smaller set molded from behind and then finished as you see. They will be made functional and are designed to take air to the front brakes, which are the Beretta's cross drilled. The wing is actually moved back three inches and was done after I rebuilt the suspension and lowered the car so it would give it a longer look at the top. From there I got the idea to install a power antennia on the left rear quarter which came from the last generation 300ZX. The front emblem is long story but I think it really looked good.

It's good to see you post on the forum and to get recognized for such a beautiful car and all your hard work. I really enjoyed our run back to Florida together. I made it back to Ron's house at 3:00 PM. I dropped behind someone running a "screemer" and only slowed for traffic. Are you thinking about a V8? Check my profile for my email address and let me know.
It was nice to met and talk with you also at the show and as I may have told you my son and I look at your web site often to get ideas for our next project. Hopefully we can get you to bring that great looking car to the Daytona Show next year...
exoticse,
I will be at the next CFF meeting at Courtesy Pontiac which I think is on the 7th and look forward to meeting and talking with you also. Rare is right about the wheels, Konig Imagine with eighteens on the rear and seventeens on the front...
Hey Roy,
I had a great time with you and Ron this past weekend and don't tell Dave Connely but I'm joining your club this weekend. As far as the V8 goes they are right, I really am sold on the LT-1 (Archie installed) that Clement Flanagan had in his 88 GT at the Daytona show this past March. What a clean and forceful look....
sastian,
As far as the emblem goes I will get some pictures posted this weekend for you. I found two Fiero front emblems on ebay a while back that I had never seen before and put my bid in on them and only one person tried to take one away but didn't bib high enough, so I got them. I talked to Ron the Fiero historian from the Michigan Club and he said he has never seen them before. I also talked to a person (forgot his name)at the show that works for a company in the Detroit area that designs and produces emblems for the car and truck makers and told me it was not cheap to make them but had never seen them before either. So it is still a mystery where they came from...

I recognized the rims as the Konigs, since I am also getting them, but Rare said they were chrome,..I have not seen them in chrome anywhere only silver and opal.
To me they just look silver. Did he make a mistake or are they chrome ?
Sorry about that exoticse I really did not answer that the first time. They are the silver and opal with Yokohama 215/40ZR17/87W tires on the front and 235/45ZR18/91W on the rear...Hope that helps you out and are you coming to the August meeting....

I took a bunch of pictures of your car, it was my favorite at the show, but somehow I didn't get any pictures of the engine bay. Do you have a website or any pictures of the car you can post. It was nice talking with you at the show. That was my first Fiero event and I didn't know what to expect, but had a great time. Beautiful car!

Silver and opal ?!? I think it has to be one or the other, but not both lol.
