2334.6 miles - My trip odometer rolled over twice and read 334.6 when I hit my driveway back in Seffner, Fl (near Tampa).

38 hours - It took 18 hours to get to Pontiac and 20 hours to get back home. Which, interestingly enough, equals the number of hours I put into the car in the four days preceeding the trip (lots more in the weeks before then).

63 mph - My average speed for the trip.

30 mpg - Based on my gas recepts and the trip odemeter, I average almost 30 mpg over the whole trip. Not bad for a 2.8 with 150,000 miles. I also used about 1 1/2 quarts of oil.

90 mph - Average speed over the last two hours of the trip.

$300 - I shared gas, hotel, and registrations expenses with a fellow club member (tellron) and still spent about $300 not counting food and souvenirs. Add at least another $200 for those.

Was it worth it??... I'd do it again IN A HEARTBEAT!!!

I had a great time meeting everyone. For all those who took the time to stop by introduce yourself and to check out my Firebird styled interior, thank-you.

See you at the 25th!

Wow!
You got us beat, except for the average speed for the trip part.
We averaged on the trip what you did on the last two hours
My Indy is a 4 speed with 4:10 gears. It isn't anything to right about on going up thru the gears, BUT once you get it in 4th and get up around 70mph she is quick, very responsive and has a ton of top end!! Just ask my Dad LOL

Your right as to if it was worth it.
We would do it again in a heartbeat too

Glad to hear that you made it all the way back home safe and sound.

Steve
