2334.6 miles - My trip odometer rolled over twice and read 334.6 when I hit my driveway back in Seffner, Fl (near Tampa).
38 hours - It took 18 hours to get to Pontiac and 20 hours to get back home. Which, interestingly enough, equals the number of hours I put into the car in the four days preceeding the trip (lots more in the weeks before then).
63 mph - My average speed for the trip.
30 mpg - Based on my gas recepts and the trip odemeter, I average almost 30 mpg over the whole trip. Not bad for a 2.8 with 150,000 miles. I also used about 1 1/2 quarts of oil.
90 mph - Average speed over the last two hours of the trip.
$300 - I shared gas, hotel, and registrations expenses with a fellow club member (tellron) and still spent about $300 not counting food and souvenirs. Add at least another $200 for those.
Was it worth it??... I'd do it again IN A HEARTBEAT!!!
I had a great time meeting everyone. For all those who took the time to stop by introduce yourself and to check out my Firebird styled interior, thank-you.
See you at the 25th!
