Well, as an owner of a Fiero, a Probe, AND a Trans Am.... ...I generally like it but it looks somewhat dated, especially with the large front overhang. It looks like a baby TA. I'm sure that it would've been a stunner back in '90 but now it would be a follower to the TA (which in turn followed the Banshee concept car).
Also, I think that the '90 looks unfinished. The character line running along the side makes it look like the door handle and the rub strip fell off or hadn't yet been installed.

Me too Jake Dragon that is sweet. I like the prototype but I really like Jake Dragons car. And I really liked the proto but that notchie wow did you do that?
I'm not a big fan of it either, but then again, it was supposed to be here 13 years ago. It would have debuted before the redesigned TA, Probe, RX-7, etc. So back then it probably would have been a real head turner. Now, though, it looks more dated than the 86-88 GTs, and not nearly as unique.

I don't like it either, it looks like a probe mixed with a nsx. I wish they made the fiero exactly like it was except with the 3800sc and ecotech for motors. As long as they didn't stick crap like air bags and abs in it you could probably buy it for around $10,000

As someone already stated it was saposed to come out 13 years ago. There was no probe, NSX, or anything close for a resonable price. I like to belive that if the 90 did come out when it should have. There would be no TA's anymore. No the 90 dosen't look TA ish cause the TA took ideas from the fiero. I love the 90. Mabye if the question was would you like the 90 to come out as a 2004. No I would not. It would need to be redesigned again. Then it would probably look like everything else.

I'm not as impressed with it as I thought I would be I guess I'm just used to seeing our "older" cars. That's why I much prefer the 2+2. Although absolutly usless for carrying more that two people, I think the longer lines make the car much cooler looking.

I was starting to think I was the only one who didn't care for it. IMO, it lost the classic Fiero look. Now on the other hand, the original Indy pace car... That's one I'd love to have parked in the drive way.

When I saw the first pics (of the gray one), I didn't care too much for it. To me, it looks much better in person. I still prefer the styling of the 87s and 88s, but I suspect the prototype's styling would have grown on me. And who knows what it would have evolved into by now. One thing I do like is that it appears to be about 4-5 inches wider than the ones we have now. I like how it tucks all that wide rubber under the fenders.

I like it. It would have been the next evolution. My 88 still consistantly turns heads. I have no doubt that had the 90 been released, the same would have applied.
We would have lowered it and put bigger rims on it just like we do with what we got. The Fiero was ahead of it's time for styling and design. It still looks modern to this day.
Example:
Few things can touch it for flash, even 15 years later.

Couldn't agree more. Also take on case the new crossfire for Chrysler. It doesn't look good to me in the photos. It is a stuner in person you have to see the cars in order to judge them. I was at the 20th and I loved the 1990 proto it would have been a move in the right direction. My opionion.

overall it's fine...nose points up a little to much i think. The main thing that bugs me is how the lights and the bumper make like a sideways canyon... < like that...

I acutally really liked it a lot. I think it would have been a fantastic car to have been made and brought into production. Im quite surprised everyone hated it. If it would have came out everyone would have said they loved it. Its a very special car.

Its denial, people say they hate it becuz they can't have it... same reason someone says people like it. The styling on it is awesome. As you can tell by it being copied by a few differant cars. And anyone who says it looks like a probe needs to be slapped.

I don't know, I can't afford a Ferrari, but I don't hate it. Can't have a Lamborghini, Shelby Cobra, etc, but I don't dislike their styling. I can't have that prototype convertible that GM brought, and I love that one .

I never noticed that, but come to think of it, it sure does look like a Probe -- slap away Muddy!
