I don't know how to write HTML, so as soon as I can find someone to write a simple page for me I'll have the thumbs up in an array with links under each thumb to the full size pics I took (avg 350k each) and as much info as I can get the owners to submit, such as wheel/tire size, brand, model, car year, etc. I didn't get all the cars, and mainly took pictures of aftermarket wheels.

Just thought it might be an interesting project...

It took me a while, but #68 is mine.
Konig Verdict 17x8
This would be a great way to build a website with thumbnails of aftermarket wheels that fit the fiero.

My nasty wheels made it at #14 ... I need to have the paint stripped and put 'em back to silver .... they won't be too bad then.

I think my wheels are made by Enkie. They are 15"X6" with Cooper Cobra 205-60X15 tires. They were originally silver then painted purple (for Rogers Raptor) and then painted black for my car. I got them second hand for a song ... lol

These wheels and tires are for sale for a measly $200 plus shipping (or pickup). If they had the paint stripped and put back to the original silver color they would be pretty nice. There are a few abrasions on the wheels ... nothing too major ... and the tires have about had it. If interested in a decent set of CHEAP wheels email me !!!

If you're still looking for someone to code the page for you let me know and I can do it.

P.S. - Can I get my wheels added, they came the day after the 20th

Very cool, James!

#28 is mine. Konig Absolute 17x7, with graphite finish. (Kind of wish I'd have sprung for the black opal ones. See image #03.)
Tires are Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s. 215/45-17, front; 235/45-17 rear. Car is an 88 coupe.

Now, when somebody posts a "What kind of rims are these?" or "Show us your rims!" thread, we can just post a link to your page.

Definitely could use the coding help. Here's what I know about html:

Ok, that's it.

I think I have the /quote and /img thing figured out, though. Sure, I think it would be a great idea to have a similar list for all wheels on member's cars, sort of a visual database (not to be confused with Visual tm) that is easy to scan through. Email me at jsavage@airmail.net to discuss the coding.

This project was a spur of the moment thing that I started doing as they were loading up the prototypes, so many cars were out of the parking lot already. I remember yours, you were parked next to Archie's blue Fino IIRC when Mr. Mikes was doing the seat cover demo. Take a nice pic of your wheels from about hub height and email them to me, I'll get them thumbed and posted forthwith. You may have to do it in the shade to reduce glare and sun sparkle.

Duplicate entry. I'll fix it. BTW, the numbers are nothing particularly relevant, I just needed some way of naming the .jpgs that was simple.

I didn't take pictures of most stock wheels except at the very end when I thought to myself, "Gee, I should get some reference pictures of stock wheels". Of course, this was the next day when pretty much most people were already gone. Sigh. I'm great on ideas, but sometimes my planning really sucks. I would like to get pics of new-condition stock wheels, as well as modified wheels that were at the 20th to put up on the site, plus more wheels for the member's wheels site. As you may or may not have realized by now, I'm sorta playing this out by ear.

Just a bump, figured this would be the best way to accumulate info on the wheels and tires at the 20th. What I'm looking for is:

Tire brand, model, size (front and rear if different)

Wheel brand, model, size, and offset (front and rear if different)

Model year of car, '88 or '84-'87

Suspension or brake mods if they affect wheel fitment or tire clearance (lowered, big brakes, etc)

Body mods that affect fit? Like the yellow Lambo-like kit that had what appeared to be 12" wide rims on the back.

Any issues with fit and clearance? (Rubs, had to grind or modify for clearance, etc?)

I appreciate everyone's input, and Pontiacsound, you need to send me pics of your wheels so that I can get them up.

Thanks!

I think I found mine #65 but the thumbnail is SOOOOO small. anyhow here's a duplicate 87 GT w/ TSW Spindle, 19 x 8 & 35mm offset w/ 245-35r19 Nitto Extreme 555, slight rub on wheel well liner, 13" Vette rotors crossdrilled & slotted, 99 F-body calipers. No clearance issues with tubular suspension, Stock suspension will need the shock moved back on the control arm for the caliper.

edited cause I cant speel
