Hey, just thought I'd let everyone know about the upcoming August Pontiac show on the 23rd and 24th. Located on I-80 between Omaha and Lincoln at the Gretna outlet Mall.
Welcome to the Forum, Extinct Warrior! I think you'll find that there will be a LOT of Fieros at this show...our local club (Midwest Fieros) has taken the trophy for club participation the past 3 or 4 years. If you're planning on entering, please list MWF as your club affiliation, if you're not already affiliated with another club...it will help us out! Please come and introduce yourself...musicman and I will both be there, and I'm guessing sluppy123 will be there along with his brother, plus many other Fiero owners who aren't on this forum.

Man you guys are killing me on shows...... But I'll drive the 5hrs to get there...
So I'll be there to show. When we get back from Vegas this week. If I win the Mill. I'll fly there!!!
See you all soon, & Had a great time at the last show...
Good luck in Vegas, Chris! Here's a link with pictures of the 2000 show...unfortunately, they haven't updated their website since then! But it shows the location, and the show field. http://www.geocities.com/poay2k/2000ShowPics.html
They have activities going on Saturday, but the show itself is on Sunday. There are hotels nearby, if you want to come in on Saturday, or even Friday if you want to get in on some of the events that day...they're having a Swap Meet and Car Corral during the day, and then a Free dinner at the Food Court, a Free Money Run, and a White Elephant Auction Saturday night at the show site. I usually just attend the show on Sunday. Registration is from 1PM until 4PM Saturday at the show site, or from 8AM till noon on Sunday. The show runs from noon til 3PM, with awards given out at 4. Everyone that enters gets an award...it's a judged points show, with a gold, silver, or bronze award given, just like our show was. There are three Fiero classes...Stock Coupe/Formula all years, Stock GT all years, and Modified all years all models. I'll PM you with some contact email addresses if you want to have them send you a registration form. I'll also send some hotel info, in case you're interested in that. Hope to see you there!

I'm gonna try to be there, I'm moving to Lincoln on the 15th so hopefully I'll be all settled in by then. I won't have my car in the show though, maybe it'll be ready for next year!

Tony, it's easy to find. From Lincoln, just get back on I-80 Eastbound to Omaha. The show is at the Nebraska Crossings Outlet Mall, just off the interstate at exit 432 on the North side of the interstate. What the heck...put your car in the show! EVERY car gets an award, no matter WHAT it looks like! Just remember to list Midwest Fieros as your club affiliation...that will help us keep our streak of winning the club participation award alive..

Ouch! Don't twist that knife too much Mike. Hope to see you there Shawn, and to talk to you more than I got to at SAC Museum...
Hehehe...I wasn't meaning to "twist the knife", Nic. I merely meant that if it wasn't running, he could trailer it down, push it into place on the show field, and it would get judged.

I will try my best to get there, its all going to depend on how long it takes to get all my parts here and how long to get it all in and running good and all tested to make sure there are no apparent problems. I would love to go but the new 3800SC needs to be put in and I need 2 other Tires to drive on Well see, Ill shoot for it but no guarantees!

You really should enter it, prtzlboy. A couple of years ago, some guy entered his 84 coupe. I swear to God, you couldn't hardly tell what color it was, it was so dirty. He slept in it the night before the show. Didn't clean up a thing. He STILL got an award...every car gets an award, based upon how many points you are awarded in each category by the judges. Yours CAN'T be nearly as bad as this guy's car was...

Hehehehe...it wasn't YOU, Buddy! Unless, of course, you've gotten about 20 years younger, and lost about 50-75 lbs.

It's actually much closer to Omaha than it is Lincoln, Buddy. I'd venture a guess that it's about 15 miles west of Omaha on I-80. That would put it about 43 miles east of Lincoln.

Hey everyone, just got back from the show and it was a huge turn out from the fiero crowd. If I'm not mistaken I counted a total of 23 fieros. I remember at the 1995 show there were only about 6 of us that turned out. Its good to see that the Fiero faithful are increasing in numbers. I'll have to post a few pics later this evening when I get them downloaded from the camera.
