I got a fiero! Finally! Its an 87 GT that's just about fully loaded. It needs some work, but not a whole lot. He wanted $2150, but I got it for $1750.
I would like to send a big big thanks to Skitime for helping me find this car.
Its got 127000 miles on it. But it runs pretty well. It has power mirrors, power windows, and power locks. An after-market sunroof. It has Kenwood speakers up front, Boston Acoustics in the pillars, and a Clarion CD Player.
I know you guys are dying to see pics So here ya go.

Pretty nice car, sheep! I was looking at the pics, and thought "not bad at all", then suddenly...OOF...the engine compartment... But it looks like it will clean up nicely! Most of what I see that needs work is fairly easy to do...much better than mine was when I started working on it!

Now you can go to a fiero show with a fiero. Now, let me think "when is the next fiero show in PA?" That would be the Fiero Dutch Calssic at Zinn's Park in Denver PA, right off the turnpike. And it is hosted by MAFOA. Finish cleaning it up and bring it to its first show. Excellant canidate for the High Milage Fastback Class. See you there.

fiero38sc- sadly, i wont have plates by then, and since it was registered in another state, i would have to get it inspected. and with a loose tilt steering column, thats not gonna pass. so ill bring a pic of it and put it up on an easel somewhere

Not sure if your familiar with PA titling and laws. You can take the out of state title to anyplace that issues plates and pay the sales tax and normal title and plates fees and get plates. Then after getting plates you have 10 days from then to get it inspected. Since it's from out of state, the former owner doesn't need to be present to do this.
So it's possible to make it to Zinn's. But as always put safety first. Would be cool to see ya there though.
Thanks TM. Ill be at Zinn's, dont you worry. But i wont have the car, Im gonna get it in working order. then ill get plates and an inspection. I expect to have it road worthy by the end of August. 2nd or 3rd week of September at the latest probably.

Hey don't know how I missed this tread. Congrats! I am glad you found one. FINALLY! No get that to the Dutch Classic. Like everyone says you got 10 days. All you need is a sales receipt. But if you don't you better still get to the Dutch Classic without it. BTW it looks great.

I go in my garage to look at it
I looked at the battery tray, and its hardly rusted. So im not too worried about the frame being rusted.

Yes, I will be at the Dutch Classic, but i probably wont have the car there. Its got that damned loose tilt steering column thing and a few other problems, so it probably wouldnt pass inspection. But, like i had said, Ill be at the Dutch Classic. I will probably wear a nametag that says 'derangedsheep from PFF' and it will have a pic of the car on it

Sweet! Now all I need to do is the same thing! BTW, why does it seem that the only nice GTs for sale are autos?
well, i didnt originally want an auto. but i decided that since its a first car. i would rather have an auto without power steering, than have a manual without power steering.

If you're in the market for a tilt column, I happen to have one. I don't know what it's worth but maybe we can work out something! Let me know!(PM or Email me) Jason

well, so far ive pulled $3.26 out from behind the seats and in the shifter assembily. and thats just the stuff i could see
Pull the seats; it's only 4 little bolts. That's where the real money lies. After mine was completely cleaned out I still found a treasure trove under the seats...

I sure hope you enjoy your Fiero they are cool cars. I need to get me a magic 8 ball too and when I think I need a fuel pump or other items it might say ask again later. It really looks like a nice car. With all the coins you found you can buy you a new fuel filter.
Good luck with it.

Looks like a very nice car, but whoever said it their right, when you see the engine compartment you think EEK! Clean that bad boy up then it will be nice
When I got my first Fiero I went out and sat in it and looked at it like the whole night (I was 14). Its an AWSOME feeling! When i got my rims for the Fiero I went out there at like 2 in the morning cause i had to look at it lol. I think that you'll catch yourself doing the same time and time again

Lol, these cars are great piggy banks. My son pulled a little over $27.00 out of mine. When he told me how much I regretted telling him he could have any change found. We also got 9 Tapes out from uner the seats. Tiffany, Firehouse, Micheal Jackson, ACDC, Slaughter, 2 Sound track tapes and I forget the others 2.

No the real money lies around the shifter.

Is there a pin stripe around the side window, on the edge of the front fenders and on the wing? Looks like it...
Nice car!
yes, there is a pinstripe. it starts at the front fender and goes back and loops upp around the quarter window and stops. then it goes across the wing too. it is accually on the hood also. it starts at the top and goes down under the nose badge and comes back up on the other side, kind of a U shape
hey, that took me about 30 seconds to make, slaving away at photoshop lol, i just havet gotten a chance to make a better one yet, but it will come along eventually.

Nice find! It is pretty much LOADED... Power trunk, and the defrost switch below. It might come in handy. Doesn't matter too much though... I think the lines across the back window look cool.
