Im trying to put together an east coast get together sometime in january/february. Just wanting to know what people would think of as a central meeting place ... it was suggested to me that staunton, va would be a good place because its where 64 and 81 meet. ideas and dates are welcome ... just trying to get something organized well in advanced.

man would i love to have kento's weather, id have time to strip down two of my fiero's

Meeting at a ski resort doesnt sound too bad, we probably wouldnt get to know each other that well due to the skiing..... winterplace is about 15 minutes south of beckley wv in ghent wv

or there is always timberline/snowshoe area about 30 minues from Elkins wv

staunton is about a 3 hour drive for me and MRJ, when i go to va beach, i always stop right around there at whites truckstop, they have cheaper gas than most of the other places around there. As long as i have a car that will make it there, ill come

maybe someone with a highlymodified fiero can take me for a ride so i can hate my 3.4L fiero

just keep me updated!

Wintergreen is right around the corner from me and is about 20 mins from Staunton. Awesume Skiing!

Hey Mosh_Man I can take you for a wild ride on some great roads near Wintergreen in the FIER4.9 If you promise to Clean out my seat and use some Freebreeze to get rid of the smell, When we are done

I think this would be great. We never have any big gatherings in this part of the country. We should all work together and get one started. I also was thinking that we should put together a track day at http://www.summitpoint-raceway.com sometime in the spring. When we are not at the track we can go spend all our money at Charles Town. ALso we have http://www.virclub.com/ in Danville, Va. Both excellent tracks and I'm looking to put FIER4.9 on one or both this year.

I really don't care where or when we do this. So far some people have made suggestions but nobody is saying "OK that one sounds good, lets go" I have ideas too, Wintergreen for skiing and/or paintballing on my property. If anyone wants to do that Joey and I play evey other weekend. If you need equipment, I have access to a shop that rents everything you need top play.

I truelly don't care what or when we do something let's all just get on the same page

I always look forward to meeting some of you guys.

Wintergreen sounds good. A lot depends on the weather (for driving not skiing ).

If not icy or snowy, there are some excellent twisties for driving fun around there. Paintball would be fun but in january-february we'd better be wearing some body armor to deal with the frozen 'paint'. I'd love to hit the Blue-Ridge Pig for some more excellent smoked meat & BBQ sandwiches (I can almost taste the smoked ham...MMMMmmmmmmmm).

I live about 15 minutes from Wintergreen. The pig is a great place to eat. The paintballs are not frozen if they were then they would not shoot. The balls do not hurt unless they come from my gun

paintball ... haha its been a long time i used to play in a league ... i absolutely hate the rec guns that they have ... its like using a gun with a curved barrel ... just doesnt work

OK ... getting everyone on the same page HOPEFULLY

how bout JUST a get together and maybe get some food and whatnot on a saturday in february, and then once we get things organized we could do wintergreen/paintball etc etc?

this sounds like its turning into a club

How ever many want to come, all are welcome
I also have these.......

Ask Joey how much fun they are. I have them hooked up to a PS2 with NFS Underground, NFS HP2, Burnout 1 & 2, Nascar 2003 & 2004, GT3, Midnight Club 2 and many others if You want to bring any others or the same for a double hook up would be excellent.

As far as food, If you want to bring something thats great. I'll probally have snacks on hand. We could also drive into town to go out to eat. What ever you guys want to do.

Send me an e-mail with all your info. See your other thread for the link to the thead about the club. Looks like we have new interest in the club. This club is more of a group of friends who enjoy Fieros than a Club that has fees and such. I will be getting our website back up soon.

You can get directions and drive times from Yahoo.

When you get to Charlottesville, you then go South on highway 29
Past North Gardens - Crossroads Store(Big White Store on Left)
Few mile after you'll pass the Nelson County sign on your right
At the bottom of that hill will be Route 6 on the left(see map)
Two hills later, Get in Left lane, Slow down, on the down side of hill you need to turn left
cross over 29 on to 617(see map)
go past first bridge(see map)
go around next Left curve
Driveway goes off at 45 degree angle with power poll next to drive

If you need more help just ask

As far as time I think that it should be some what early so that we have time to play and then go into Charlottesville(20min drive)for dinner.
